I have an sspg exhaust system that I bought used for $100 that I modified myself by shortening up the baffle a little bit and changing to outlet a little bit. It definitely doesn’t sound like sh!t but it’s not a Harley or a crotch rocket. It sounds like a crf 80. I did that bs Briggs and Stratton muffler for a week or 2 and just could not tolerate the obnoxious sound it created
If you where to use the stock snorkel or air tube with that filter you could run smaller jets (38/78) and see improved performance. Not having a pipe will create significant air turbulence, same for having to long of a pipe. 5 1/2 inches like the oem air snorkel works best.
Thanks for the info, I know this reply is very very late, I apologize. I'll remember this next time I try to squeeze some extra unf out of it! Which is hopefully soon
Lol i don't give a shit, but the whole time he was painting I was just staring at the gold bike thinking "he's gonna get the most insignificant amount of spray on that thing"
If it makes it better, it was someone else's bike that got left in the garage for almost a year like it was storage. So wasn't worried about it at all lmao
I need to replace my exhaust. Would you suggest going the route you took or maybe something diff? I have the same thoughts about spending $200+ on a new exhaust, aint happening!
Honestly depends on your desired power/use of the scooter! My route is obviously rude and crude but it's more for comedic purposes at the end of the day but makes for a cheap exhaust that doesn't sound much different from an expensive one if that's all you're looking for. But an actual well made exhaust will do you better performance wise. Forums can help you much more on making a decision, but Id say anything under 200 bucks wouldn't be bad! But yes 200+ doesn't make sense to me when it comes to these things that are supposed to be cheap. Damn exhausts costing almost as much as the scooter lol.
@@mylifesucks327 I just got my air box delete kit. Gonna swap it out this week but was wondering, Is there any harm in leaving the stock exhaust? If I leave stock exhaust, should I even bother with the jets?
@@gav317 100% Have to rejet. Anything you do to change the amount of air being brought into the engine will need more fuel. No harm in leaving stock exhaust, but stock jetting with airbox delete will make it run very lean
@@mylifesucks327 Thats kind of what I figured too. I'm curious about the part where you had to add an extra filter and that bolt plug. Wasn't sure if that was part of the job but my kit didn't include those items.
@@gav317 The bolt was just a random bolt I found in the garage, you don't need anything specific. It's just what I used to plug it off. And the extra filter that went to the top side of carb or up on top of the plastics?
Honestly it’s because the bike looks bunk and a lot of heads find modifying these small bore rides cause it’s cheaper to work on and you don’t have to sweat the gas and the cops when you’re on a scooter, shit the cops don’t even trip on scooters not one bit at least in East Los Angeles you can ride a scooter with old ass tags and it’s not a big deal cause scooters well the majority of scooters are not even faster than 40mph😎👌🛵 that’s good enough for me 🤘😎👍🛵🏍️
Taco bell got rid of meximelts too, now they only got like 5 menu items and its all double bread double tortilla shit with no meat. 20$ For a bag of bread at tacobell these days
I apologize for a very late reply. I've been completely inactive with this account and am now trying to start it back up. I will try to find old emails to give you the info if you still need it!
I'm 300 pounds and I had my stock metro up to 38. Took a while but it got there
Mine goes 40 because I'm only 250. I need to lose another 100 lbs so it'll go 42!
Two brothers racing exhaust sounds pretty good on a ruckus. It’s a deep sound, people always think I’m running a larger engine.
it's becuse more ppl are riding and working on the metro. the rebuild is still impressive! keep it up! i respect your flex. #respecttheflex
The metropolitan is more relatable. not everyone has money for anything above that.
I love it all! A perfect "match" for the road rash!
AND the exhaust is just enough to survive, to slow to get out of a car's way, so good to be Huurd!

It sounds terrible. But I think it adds to the "stupidness" of it. lol SSPG is lightyears better!
I like the fact that you're honest. What did we accomplish today? Absolutely nothing today. :-)

Good video, by the way. Can you put a different horn on the Metro? Something that sounds mighty!
Train horn it is then!
I think you should have tried the jetted carb, with the stock exhaust first.
Yes, metro more interesting than other bike
When are you going to sell the CB750 for a racing lawnmower
When someone brings me a racing lawnmower
scooter is cool, and its something we all could afford. :)
Yes sirrr🔥💯🙏🏽
