I would LOVE to see a video on doing self-employed taxes. Two questions: 1) Do you pay quarterly, and if so, what percentage do you set aside? And 2) Do you file your annual tax returns yourself or use a CPA?

Hiiiii! Thank you for watchinggggg!! Question 1 - Quarterly! 30%, whatever is extra you will get back as a tax return! Its better to overestimate than under, but it depends on how much you made last year. But if this is your first year, I would decide between 20 and 30%.
Question 2- My mom does my taxes, i'm transitioning into doing my own! She's an accountant and Tax Lawyer! But, I suggest getting help because a tax professional may uncover additional savings that you knew nothing about!
@Tyra The Creative Thanks for responding, lady! And how lucky are you! Is your mom taking on new clients? Haha! But how amazing will that be to actually do your own! I've been shopping around for tax professionals, and I was shocked at how expensive they are. 😲 I'm patiently waiting for a Turbo Tax, Tax Act, etc. to develop software specifically for freelancers. A girl can dream, can't she?

How did you make friends while moving to a new state? I ask bcs I’m moving there in a few months and I’m a bit of an introvert but I do open up once I get to know the person lol
oh this is a good question! I just posted two videos talking about this! Check them out. But, I just made sure I was building a community. Doing social activities where I would meet likeminded people
