Idk about all dat. His manager thanked Dreamville and Interscope on Twitter for allowing Lute to roll out the album HIS way. He was being very specific.
Artistry especially in the Rap Industry has been getting botched since the 2000’s due to ridiculous standards of commercial success. Lute doesn’t have to be a mainstream, super popularized artist in order for him to have a fruitful career and make successful music. Dreamville gave Lute the artistic freedom to push the album out how he wanted to, Lute chose to take an organic approach over gimmicks to push his music. Gold Mouf will do very well on DSP’s, His merch will sell and His shows will definitely sell out. He has an organic following from a loyal fan base who will continue to support his music throughout his career. In other Lute is doing just fine as an Artist, so rather than complaining about his “rollout” or commercial success, let’s continue to support his music in the simplest form.. by listening to it and enjoying the vibes🎶🎵
