Make sure to detail below any problems you all found in Like A Dragon Ishin (LADI). Also share this video in the hope that the developers will see it and release an update to address the problems I mention in the video along with any that you all comment below!

    Update:
    1. It turns out that you can change your house interior. You can do so by going into your house and then to the left of the spot where you do your Trade Orders there is a little stand you can interact with that lets you change it.
    2. Having found out the above, I would say that there is a new issue that I am now aware of. That issue being that there are several things in the game that should be made more clear and pointed out to the player. For example, in addition to the house interior changing station never being made explicitly obvious; I had another problem that was going to be on this list until I realized that there was a solution; that problem being that it seemed that if you had a full inventory and you opened a container and received an item that had to go in your inventory, it seemed to me that you had to replace something in your inventory for the new item instead of being able to just send the newly acquired item directly to storage. There are more things I could list, but basically there are several things in the game that should be made more obvious to the player.

They could have fixed those issues but they said "nah 😅 let's make easy money with an old game"

It is unforutate that they didn't update the game in the years since it's original release. The maps alone would make the world a bit easier to naviage. For a game orginally released in 2014 I think it's pretty good. If i could add one thing it would be a lock on camera. I enjoy the combat but it can feel really clunky at times.

An issue that I've found, killing an enemy by EX essence of kneeing off cliff. Or the EX essence of wall stab, can cause enemy loot to fall out of the players collectable area. This matters in the dungeons because you will not be able to collect it

I think I'm on chapter 9 I'm loving the story. I'm keeping in mind while playing this that this is just a remaster of the original Japanese only game and it is very grindy. I agree with the merchant and arms dealer stuff

Hello! It is great to see you again! I am really glad you are enjoying the story! The Yakuza/Like A Dragon series are the games with probably the best stories I have ever seen. What other Yakuza/Like A Dragon games have you played?
I hope all is going well in your life! Wishing you all the best in the world! 🌠

I’ve definitely had frame rate issues. Specifically, the beginning section in Tosa really caused my computer to chug. Another issue with smoothness seems to be Heat Actions. I’ll usually have half a second stutters when I input any Heat Actions.
I’m glad this is a video about actually performance and optimization issues discussion and not another place to whine about Trooper Cards and character models.

Hello! As to your issues, I also had some performance problems such as stutters, frame dropping, and input delay, but what worked for me (I am on PC btw) was turning down the graphic settings and the game still looked great, but I no longer had those issues, except some stuttering when swords would collide in cutscenes.
As to your other statement, I am glad you took note of that because I didn't want this video to be a rant about things I personally would rather the game be like. For example, I personally prefer the party system and turn based combat of YLAD than the live action combat of this game, but I know there are plenty of others out there who think the exact opposite so this game was made to appeal to them.
Anyways, welcome to the channel if you are new here! We are glad to have you around!
I hope all is well in your life! Wishing you all the best the world has to offer! 🌠
      Much ❤️

@@Skystu I do definitely agree that sword effects like the sparks and lighting shifts when they collide were one of the most consistent problems for frames. The slowdown was far less noticeable in Brawler than the other styles, and extremely bad (I’ve had them last upwards of a full second) during certain Swordsman Heat Actions.
I’m really glad to see someone who understands the series for what it is. Yakuza is a series that can’t be shoved into a single genre. It’s most commonly a beat-em-up, sure, but it’s also a rhythm game, gambling suite, dating simulator, sports game, and even things like an RPG, a tycoon, an RTS, a driving game, a hunting simulator, and 3rd person shooter. The game grows and enriches itself and the world it takes place in by growing and becoming more complete. I started with Yakuza 7, but it brought me to love the other games both as a high-octane brawler series and as pieces to a greater story about a world as rich as our own. The games are endlessly versatile, and that’s why people love it so much. People ragging on the fact that the series isn’t the exact same as it always have been missed the point entirely. Everyone has something to do in Yakuza, even if the main gameplay isn’t your favorite part about it. I loved the RPG elements in 7, but I also recognize that the other games are their own things and should be treated fairly. People like to go on about how 7 “ruined” the series or how Ishin Kiwami is too “goofy” and “arcade-ish”, but I think that it suits the way the series has developed. Zero was already a big step towards the arcade feel when it made money into a point system for upgrades instead of just currency. I don’t see why making the game a bit more fast-paced and exaggerated is such a bad thing.
You’re a cool guy. I honestly dreaded this video when I saw it in my subscriptions, but you really do care about the community. I’m glad someone wants to make a place where we can help sort out technical issues that affect lots of us playing the game. It’s good to see someone who sincerely wants to bring the community together. I think you could do things similar to CyricZ - and that’s a big complement.

@@scarymeunster9095 Every word you said is spot on! I don't think I could have said it better myself. As for the compliment, thank you for the kind words; they mean more to me than you know! I am not hugely familiar with CyricZ, but I believe his Game FAQ Safes guide for Yakuza Like A Dragon was a useful resource for me when I made my videos on all of the silver safes and all of the gold safes in the game. He is definitely a helpful member of the community!

Playing on PS5 is STILL a buggy mess to this day. Mini map runs at 10fps, the ingame lighting looks like shit/unfinished, and the game is filled with broken NPC and enemy AI. I love the game regardless but it’s so obvious that this game was a cash grab that was originally marketed as a full on remake but LAD:I is just a glorified remaster 😢

The game being extremely grindy is a major issue that could have been fixed, I don't wanna make hundreds of meals nor going fishing a thousand times 😢😢😢
