Hello Marcelo, hope you are excited about Kenya. I can assure you, you are going to love being there. Remember to keep enough cash with you or ensure to buy a Safaricom SIM card in order to be able to use M-Pesa. Wishing you a great time in East Africa. You can never have too much time in Lamu.
@@sydneytau9098 Thank you!., it is best that i change euros when i arrive to Mombasa and tel. SIM card....?, thanks for the quick reply!, looking forward to Kenya!
@@marcelopisani8157 you will probably land at Jomo Kenya Int’l and then fly into Mombasa from there. You should be able to find currency exchange places at the airport. Personally I found it cheaper to just withdraw from my VISA debit card at the airport ATM and withdraw Kenyan shillings. I had to inform my bank ahead of time that I would be transacting with the card there. You can use that option or exchange the euros when you get to Kenya from the money exchange counter.
@@marcelopisani8157 SIM cards are sold at the airport, there is a booth for each network provider but I would advise that you buy Safaricom, this will allow you to pay using M-Pesa instead of using cash
