Knots…Alberto for the lighter stuff up to 40# braid. 50 or more I start using the FG. 4turn Surgeons knot for quick and dirty if the bite is hot and I need a quick re-tie.

This was filmed on the 18th. Blue fish are prevalent right now but we did catch some pompano last week on sand fleas. I also saw a few caught today, so our “resident pomps” are here. We just need to weed through all the other fish here as well. Thanks for watching and tight lines❤️🎣
Hey Julie, would you mind commenting which part of Pensacola beach you find more productive? Around the pier? Toward Fort Pickens? Or toward Navarre beach?
Honestly, we fish from Pickens all the way down to Navarre pier. If one spot isn’t producing we pack up and move to a new spot. Fish swim the entire length so we don’t have a favorite area. We just look for deep troughs/ holes and sand bar placement. Thanks for watching! Hope you have a great evening ❤️🎣
It dirties up after storms and heaving rain. End of October through May seems to be the clearest since we have less storms then. Grass is an issue right now, so we haven’t hit the beach at all this week. Thanks for watching and tight lines❤️🎣
We hit 3 zones when surf fishing. In close (the trough), just pass the 1st sand bar (30 yards or so) and then throw a rod out there as far as you can cast. (About 120+ yards). Thanks for watching! Tight lines❤️🎣

Fg knot is awesome especially for casting , it minimizes wind knots for me inshore
