I have been away from the trials scene for many years. I still remember the Yamaha TY250 mono being a revelation over the twin shock bikes. I was around the Yorkshire trials scene back in the day and my dad was friends with the Lampkins. These modern bikes are amazing, but they still look similar to the old bikes in many ways. I wonder how a modern rider would perform on an old TY250 mono.
Have kind the same story like yourself. Competed in trials from 1988 to 1994. Had Beta 260, 2 Yamaha TY's, 250, Fantic 305, 307 and two Fantic K-Roo's. Want to buy on of those newer bike, the engine seem to be much more agressive, than those older bikes, more power higher in the rev range and still have a FAT torque curve👍😎 cheers from me in Norway
Love the Carbon Fibre Knuckle protectors * Did You mention in another video why You put black silicone inside the Gear Selector Barrel and the hole inside the front sprocket shaft ? also the S3 adjusters (2nd Gen) are quite sharp , I'm going to round mine off with a Dremel to make them a little safer , Really enjoying the BVM bike Checks 👍👍
So Craig, how much does this bike weigh, what HP is it supposed to have, and HOW THE HELL do thay make these Trials bike so light these days?? I suspect my 70's vintage Montessa Cota is twice the weight.

Both the TRS One-R and RR come with monoboc calipers, however Braktec make two different models. Craig has swapped his from this bvm-moto.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2559&search=MONO to the one used on the RR models which is this one bvm-moto.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=4871&search=MONO
@@bvm-moto That's awful when you hear about those type of injuries. Respect to Craig to not give up this gift that is our sport, and he can certainly still ride like a boss😎
Now every brand of bike is on the cards .😆 It will help sales go up especially when when we see it on all the different bikes and how it looks .🍻🍻👏👏👏👏
Always love the bike checks. Thanks. I'd love to see a bike check with Billy Green on that new Scorpa ride!

Hope someone at BVM Moto can do a similar video for the BETA. Thanks.

We seal the gear lever tip to prevent mud build up inside the tip. Thanks!

Where have the gaernes gone Craig?
I know it’s not angled but you should try the apico footrests and you can get them in red blue gold silver
Trying out Alpinestar and Forma this year!
You can also get the S3 Curve footrest in Blue, Red, Black.
Really wish I could find one of them jitsie bar pads. Do they not make them anymore?
They dont make them anymore which is so annoying as they really are the perfect size and shape for most bikes!
Hi Craig great video, got a question for you. can u tell me how to bleed your brakes?
Its hard for me to explain via text but this video shows you how to do it! ua-cam.com/video/BSwQD6-n0Y8/v-deo.html
Can you make a video on the 2010 beta 125 you have for sale and the 2021 beta 125 that’s only been ridden for 30 mins
@BVM when fitting the keihin large carb bowls do you need to alter the float height?
No, you shouldnt need to change the float height
The other question I had is what did you make the mapping/light switch out of?
@@williamwatson9629 the light/mapping switch bracket was made out of a small piece of aluminium 1mm sheet which then got painted black
I’ve just bought a 2021 trs one r from yourselfs, what suspension settings did you end up using?
Hi chap, those frame protectors - did you just cut the bottom off the full length TRS protectors and stick on?
Those protectors right at the bottom are actually carbon fibre ones made specifically for that part of the frame! 😎
@@bvm-moto Do you stock them? I currently have an ebasket of stuff from your website, but couldn't find those little clam shaped bits? Thanks!

Traction control and abs?
Bars are black so change them to grey ,grips are grey so change them to black :)
I thought the bike came with the monobloc calliper as standard?

That TRS looks sick. What happened to your fingers?
Craig ended up losing a finger after a crash where his hand went into the rear sprocket!
Bet that hurt

He mentioned it in another video and I wondered what had happened.
Nice work, slow down on ya camera movement on the pan and it will appear smoother 😜
Is this the electric start model ?
No, this is the kickstart version
Are the E start any good ?
@@stan9636 Yes very good, just a little bit more weight but rides and has all the same features as the kickstart version!
