স্থানীয় ও বিশ্ববাজারে চলমান বিভিন্ন চ্যালেঞ্জের কাছে নতি স্বীকার করছে না বাংলাদেশের তৈরি পোশাক উদ্যোক্তারা। বরং আগামী দুই বছরে শিল্পের দৃশ্যপট পাল্টে দিতে নতুন প্রযুক্তিতে প্রায় ১২ হাজার কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করতে যাচ্ছে দেশের পোশাক, বস্ত্র ও অ্যাকসেসরিজ প্রস্তুতকারকরা। কৃত্রিম বা ম্যানমেড ফাইবার ও ফ্যাব্রিক, রিসাইকেলড ফাইবার, অটোমেটেড যন্ত্রপাতি এবং গার্মেন্টস ও অ্যাকসেসরিজ উৎপাদনের জন্য রোবটিক প্রযুক্তিসহ আসন্ন নতুন প্রযুক্তিগুলো এ খাতের রপ্তানি ঝুড়িতে বৈচিত্র্য আনার পাশাপাশি শিল্পের সামগ্রিক উৎপাদন প্রক্রিয়াকে গতিশীল করবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

আবার নিয়ে যাবে 12 x 12 হাজার কোটি ডলার
পোশাকশিল্পের জন্য ১২০০০ কোটি টাকা তেমন বেশি কিছু না। কারন পোশাকশিল্প বিলিয়ন ডলারের শিল্প। এখন ভেবে দেখুন বিলিয়ন ডলারের শিল্পের জন্য হাজার কোটি টাকায় হিসাব করা হচ্ছে। ডলারের সাথে টাকার তুলনা। যেখানে ১ ডলারের দাম প্রায় ১১০ টাকা। সেই হিসাবে ১২০০০ কোটি টাকা হচ্ছে মাত্র ১০০০ কোটি ডলারের কিছু বেশি।
