I have sun and mercury in taurus in my natal placement which is also my third house.

You should check out the Dhari devi temple in uttarakhand, it is the most interesting temple right in the middle of alaknanda river which becomes ganga later on.
Spend 10-15 mins in/close to the temple..preferably sit there meditatively.
It is an amazing place.
