My favorite saxophone piece from my favorite classical sax player. Omg. I’m about to start this vid. I am bracing myself now.
Edit: Yes sirrrrr!!! You made this piece sound so easy. The way you play around with time so patiently is so natural and fresh. Beautiful tone and intonation. Makes me proud to play sax :’)

Such a royal and fanciful performance. There is a reason why you're my favorite saxophonist! Everything feels so unbelievably meticoulous. Its like I'm looking inside a watch! It feels as though you've known this piece a lifetime.

Thank you for sharing your incredible performances with the world. I am inspired by your playing and interpretations everyday. Can’t wait to meet you and hear and see your performance live at the masterclass your doing at Oakland University later this year.

WOW! You're ending both made me cry then laugh. Thank you so much, Mr. Kovalev! Bonneau's, "Caprice en Forme de Valse," may also be performed as a duet! Be sure to include that in your experience! :)

YOUR SOUND IS SO NICE. what is your set up?

Do you have any tips for keeping the mouthpiece in place? I frequently encounter this issue when I play a long passage where my mouthpiece just slowly slips down my mouth.
By the way, love your sound (:

Thanks for your comment. Try to find a better position with you neckstrap, or maybe try different harnesses, which are more stable. Make sure to have a enough pressure on the upper teeth!

Never ever press with upper teeth! I cannot say often enough how wrong the above comment is. Bite your mpc and your reed - that is: your sound! - will be damped and foggy, less rich of overtones.
Hold your mpc by lifting your curls of mouth: Smile.
