Thanks for the informative video. I own a K3 touch, and one thing that I do after every grind is to flick the chute (The clear plastic part that the grinds come out of). It dislodges the grinds that are just lying on the chute.

Thank you so much.. I bought the K3 touch 2 days ago.. And the Spanish worker in the factory placed the security screw in the wrong place and not at the right turn.. I act exactly like Gail with placing the top part until the last swivel and back.. Boy oh boy.. this baby started to pay back my investment, tnx.. your'e the bomb.

I just refurbished a 10 yr old K3 touch. It’s a workhorse. New control board and new burrs. All good now except, having a terrible time rotating the upper burr carrier back in even with a small amount of lube on the threads. I done it before four times at least, Any tips??

You could see the nicks on the bottom burrs a little better around the 6:00 mark. Looked to be a few shiny spots, actually, on that.

I cleaned out my K3 but now I can't seem to get a grind finer than for pour over. After cleaning, I re thread it until it touches the burrs then backed off half a turn as directed in the video but it just gives me coarse and uneven grinds. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
