There's a tiny of ego that I can sense in your language. Why didn't you give your best try before declaring you both are on different page and before quitting over her?
Unfortunately, Aquarius is known to have a big ego and is prone to narcissism. My guess is that you probably didn’t like that Capricorn could see right through you, and had their own ideas. Your idea of them “not being ready” is really just Capricorn needing to go at their own pace. So, you sabotaged things by rushing Capricorn and putting unnecessary pressure on them, and you couldn’t control them. So now you are playing the victim. You can’t control other people.
