I honestly think the last 40 minutes of this film is one of the most romantic sequences ever shot. It’s all about Jim’s sheer dedication to get back to the people he loves….by any means necessary. Absolutely brilliant sequence. And the music is the icing on the cake.

The rage virus takes less than 30 seconds before the host becomes a raging zombie that runs at top speed. I'd sooner take resident evil zombies or voodoo zombies from state of decay, then these fucking THINGS!
