Loved the comment about picking worms up, off the street, while taking a walk.
Whenever working around my yard, here in the Pacific Northwest, anytime I pick something up, after it’s been wet,I find worms. I always pick them up and put them in my compost pile. Just screened out my pile and moved the bigger parts and worms to the new pile. The compost was excellent.
