thank you very much for explanation. May i ask, at 44:07 you say that after delta merge data is transfered to persistent storage, why is that happening? why is data from RAM going to persistent storage. thank you

RAM is a volatile memory, if some thing happens u lost ur data, so it is storing to persistance layer(Hard disk)
