Haha that was fun to watch! Derrick i think maybe liked the slam..he got more out of that one biscuit than I've ever seen 😂 I would usually do it with hot coffee...but u have to be quick before the biscuit totally disolves in your hand.
I know! He wanted to finish the whole box, but we are saving some to make a Tim Tam chocolate shake. The import shop we go to is about 56 km from our house. So, we can’t just pop by on a moment’s notice. But he keeps me laughing.
guys guys.... nooo it's gotta be a warm drink like coffee or tea.... ah well.. it's fun to watch people enjoy a snack I've taken for granted my entire life.... glad you enjoyed a little bite of Australia
@@rick_thunder Tip: Warm drinks make the biscuit liquify 10x faster so there's NO time for hesitation before the slam! 😆 p.s. I'm an Aussie who lived in the US for 8 years (4 in your neighbour state KY) and definitely had Tim Tam withdrawals in that time! 😂 Edit: Many have advised about the hot drink dilemma. Disregard..haha
@@Waitomo64 thank you so much. We are doing our best to learn about Australian food culture. Derek will do it with coffee next time. Thanks for watching.
I love a TimTam. Only tried the original - I think we in the UK can only get them from Waitrose, which isn’t in my local area. The chocolate is so smooth and delicious. It’s comparable to a penguin but far more superior, as the chocolate is a much nicer quality. Wish they were available in all UK supermarkets.
@@juliefrost8079 we totally agree. They are not that easy to find in the U.S. However one of our local supermarkets recently started carrying them. We used to have to drive 35 miles to get them. But now we only drive 2 miles.
Better with a hot drink (say hot chocolate) but it melts so quick you need to suck it real quick and then slam the biscuit into your mouth before it disintegrates in the drink lol. Despite the many flavours today, the original is the best.
Derek is definitely going to try it with a coffee. That’s his favorite drink. We still have some Tim Tams at home. I’ll let him know to do it quickly with a hot drink.
Guys thanks for promoting our favourite biscuits. The Arnott family sold the company to Campbell's ( as in soup ) a USA company who did nothing for the brand, they then sold it to a USA trust company who again have done nothing. Isn't funny that two USA companies have owned Anotts but have not made it easy for you guys to buy them. I do believe that Walmart sell Tim Tam's.
It was our pleasure. They are so good. The import shop where we normally go is a 45-minute drive from our house. But our local supermarket just started carrying a few boxes at a time. So, now we only have to drive 5 minutes to get some. Our local Walmart does not have them. We’ve checked. Anyway, thanks for watching.
I have never done it with chocolate milk before. Just coffee and never held it with my fingers, just slam your head back and take it all in from hot coffee
Thanks for that feedback. Next time we’ll try it without holding it. And Derek will definitely try it with coffee. We’ve just got to find more Tim Tams.
Wrong, wrong, wrong drink must be hot (coffee, chocolate or tea) suck till hot beverage hits your tongue, dont bother looking at the camera and having a conversation, you have a biscuit to shove in your mouth, that way you dont need to talk straight away, because your mouth is full of melting goodness. Most people bite too much biscuit away, its "nibble" the corners, fill your drink to the top, so your face doesn't disappear into the giant mugs everyone seems to use, small cup is fine, because your not doing it to sample drinks, its just a means to melt the inside of your biscuits. Please try again, because you haven't really experienced a slam yet.

I love watching until the end of the videos to see those extra bits.

Should try and get yourselves some FruChocs, a South Australian Chocolate made by MENZ, sooo good..
We will put that on our list. Thanks for watching!
Do it with hot coffee and if it falls in it turns into a mocha

It needs to be done with hot chocolate so that it melts the chocolate, then you slam it in your mouth before it melts away!
That’s a great idea. Thank you, and thanks for watching.
Well done ❤

As a Aussie I suggest you should try Tim Tam Slams with Double Coated milk chocolate Tim Tams and try Triple Coated milk chocolate Tim Tams 😎👍
Triple Coated???
We just heard about the double coated. Okay, we definitely have to get the triple coated. Thanks for the info.
You need to try it with hot Milo
