Wow, thank you! I am lucky to have had some amazing teachers and all I am doing is simply sharing that. Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it.
Hi Nell, just wanted to drop you a quick line to express my sincerest gratitude for your videos. I'm so glad I've discovered your online channel, my butts not right now but I am!!!
Thanks! I bought a reformer when I had to leave the studio during COVID but haven't been motivated to use it until now. So happy to have found your channel!
Thank you for this beautiful peaceful and centred video. Love the silence, gives us chance to concentrate on your instructions and on our own movements. A good hour to tune in to the body and focus the mind. The silence behind is so important. Much appreciated. Pilates has become so hyper these days and it never started that way. Thank you for doing this video. 🙏🏻
🙏 for your kind words Laura. I am happy to hear that you find this an hour of tuning into our bodies. Perfectly said. My intention has always been about ‘going in’ and not about just doing a shape or exercise. The Method is so much more than just a fitness routine. Keep up the good work 👍🏼💪🏼🤸🏻♀️
I found your videos yesterday and i've joined you for two workouts allready. I want to thank you for sharing! You're way of explaining the exercises is great and rare to find. So thank you all the way from the Netherlands.
THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL TIME it's very early in the morning in Korea usually I feel pain as I wake up this video is very helpful reducing the pain with appropriate amount of workemergy
@@김기영-k9e you are very welcome! I am so happy to hear this workout has reduced your morning pain. Often when we wake with pain in the body it means our deep stabilising muscles are very weak so this workout will increase your core strength and therefore reduce pain.

Thank you for posting such a great workout and for providing a progressive series of levels. I love that there are multiple levels of beginner and intermediate, not just one of each. Your cueing is really spot on and helpful.Looking forward to doing this one again and trying more of your pilates reformer videos as I progress and get stronger.
Thanks a million Bella. Building up through the repertoire takes time and it’s through incremental steps that the Method builds. Keep up the good work. Nx
Your comment put a smile on my face. thanks Tracy. Yes, the weight bearing work can hurt the wrists sometimes. Try pressing through your knuckles a bit rather than sinking into the wrists. You need to activate the muscles around the whole joint, front and back to protect the joint. Easier said than done. Pressing through the knuckles can assist that.
Kevin Privett hello lovely! I’m delighted you blessed your new reformer with one on my routines. Thanks for your comment and I hope you get to practice the other levels in the series. 😘

Hi Cathy. So happy to hear we are in this quarantine thing together! I will be posting some soon, just trying to get them filmed whilst home schooling and practicing social distancing has meant Im delayed. But plan to film some this saturday.
I’ve been taking Pilates for years with some excellent instructors. I enjoyed every minute of this class and found your prompts very helpful. Looking forward to more advanced classes but will download this one until then.👍
Thanks for you comment Donna. There are some great instructors out there, good for you that you have come across some. I've filmed level 3 so now just need to voice over, edit etc and will post it soon. Thanks for your patience.
What a wonderful class, thank you so much ❤️I’m a retired dancer turned doctor, and finding time to get on my home reformer has been difficult, especially given the current situation. Have subscribed and am looking forward to getting back into my body and finding some peace with your classes 😊
Thank you for your lovely comment Kelly and thank you for your work as a doctor particularly in these unprecedented time. I am thrilled you are carving out time to look after yourself. Keep up the good work.
Awesome workout. I have been doing Pilates for over a year and there were a few moves in this video I hadn’t tried before. The only thing I noticed here was some cues for the springs. I felt I was wondering which weight to be using a few times. Otherwise it was excellent.
Hi Rebecca. Thanks for your comment and yes, I’ve been working on making the spring tensions easier to follow. 1spring = heavy. 1/2 = medium. 1/4 = light. So if I say 1 1/2 spring that = 1 strong and 1 medium. Hope that helps.
Just finished, and I'm definitely feeling it! I'm realizing just how weak my hamstrings are, so any recommendations on how to strengthen my hamstrings would be much appreciated. Stay safe; stay well. Cheers!
Happy to hear you are feeling it Erica. Are your thighs/hip flexors at the front of your legs tight? Really important to not only strengthen your hamstrings but also stretch your thighs and hip flexors out at the front, its a balance between the two thats needed if that makes sense. If you are cramping in your hamstrings when you are doing some of these exercises, try squeezing your buttocks/glutes more to help your hamstrings out. Let me know how you go.
I absolutely love your classes. Your queuing and timing is spot on. How long do you suggest one stays on each video before advancing to the next level?
I’m so happy to hear you love the classes Renee. Stay on each level until you can do it easily. Once you get to that point, you know you are strong enough to go to the next level. Take your time and enjoy!
Hi, I love your videos too! I have osteoporosis and know there are some moves I should avoid. Can you give a heads up in your videos when I should make an adaption to some of the moves? Thank you for these videos, they’re REALLY great!!
Carrie Aguilera Thankyou for your comment. Just do what moves you can and listen to your body. Down the track it’s a great idea to post specific pathology/special needs workouts. I’ll endeavour to do that.
Brilliant, I love to hear a person of your level can get something out of this. Goes to show you, you don't need to be 'flogging it' or doing 'tricks/fancy' exercises to feel the burn. When done properly, even the most advanced person should feel the most beginner of exercises.
Mid 50’s and out of shape. First time doing your workout and first time back into exercise. Really pleasant to listen to, continuous clear instructions. Agree with others, spring advice could be clearer, eg ‘1.5 or light to medium’ as I’m sure everyone has different reformers. A couple more seconds to adjust positions too? You will now be my ‘Yoga with Adrienne’ of Pilates Reformer workouts. Should have done more exercise during lockdown but starting now when on cusp of coming out of lockdown to get body and mind strong. Thank you!
Thanks for your comment Tii. Regarding spring tensions: in my videos 1 spring is 1 strong spring. 1/2 spring is a medium spring tension and 1/4 is light. You need to pull on your springs to feel which one is the strongest, then which one is a little lighter than that and then which one is even lighter. So when I say 1.5 springs (which is 1 1/2) it is 1 strong spring + 1 medium spring. Colours vary on reformers so thats why I don't refer to them. I hope this helps.
I defiantly will try this! your explanations are great! I just need a little help with the springs in the bed, in the gym there is a bed with 3 red springs, one blue and one green, how do I convert this to 1, 1.5, 2.5 etc? Thanks
1 = strongest spring 1.5 = 1 strong and 1 medium spring 2.5 = 2 strongest and 1 medium spring. Different reformers have different colours so I dont go by that. Pull on the springs and feel for the strongest ones, thats a strong spring. Then pull on the springs and feel for the spring thats a little lighter and thast the 1/2 springs/medium spring tension. Then pull on the springs and feel for the lightest, thats the 1/4 or light spring. I hope that helps.
Brittany...I went in to film it the other day but then was called back home because of home schooling issues! So sorry! LOL. I am heading into the studio on saturday to film so hopefully will be posted soon!
Thanks Yolanda, I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. The Reformer Box is a very important part of the Pilates method. If you are serious about learning all you can on the Reformer then yes, invest in a Reformer Box. You wont regret it!
Thank you Magda, investing in a reformer box is well worth it. There is so much repertoire on the reformer that requires the box and it’s very versatile. If you can’t get one, try the videos I’ve edited that don’t have the box. You can find these in the playlists in the 20 min and 10 min workouts.

thanks for another great class Nell!
My pleasure Gabriella!
wonderful video, thank you so much!
You're very welcome!

Loved this one! It felt very balanced.
Wonderful - thanks Debra!
Great workout thank you
Perfectly timed Nell - just what I needed in iso!!
Brilliant!
Awesome session. Thank you from Caroline in Fulham, London #staysafe. Xx

Love your workouts! Thanks so much!
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!
Thank you Nell. How many springs were you using. My reformer has standard black springs.
In my videos, 1 = strong spring tension. 1/2 = medium tension spring. 1/4 = light.
Amazing workout!! Thank you so so much!!!😄

perfect. Thanks Nell. You're awesome :)

I’m glad you think so Trudy! You are very welcome.
I’ll endeavour to do that.
r or physical therapist. Sorry but the previous answer is not sufficient for you.
(Beginning got cut off). Do not do any twisting movements- ask Dr. or physical therapist for specifics.
So glad I found this what a great workout. Subscribed!!

Great workout! I felt challenged even though I’m an intermediate level person.
Brilliant, I love to hear a person of your level can get something out of this. Goes to show you, you don't need to be 'flogging it' or doing 'tricks/fancy' exercises to feel the burn. When done properly, even the most advanced person should feel the most beginner of exercises.
Hello Lorraine. Hope you are well. Just letting you know I now have a website with more reformer videos that you may be interested in. nellh.tv/

😍🙏💪🏼
Loving your workouts!!
Thanks Rachelle. I appreciate your comment.
Really nice video, even the yoga eagle arms pose.
Glad you liked it! Nothing like a yoga pose to stretch those shoulders out! 🤸🏻♀️
Loving these so much thank you a million :)
So happy to hear that Axl! You are very welcome 🤗

Excellent!
Glad you liked it! 🙏🏼💪🏼🤸🏼♀️
I defiantly will try this! your explanations are great! I just need a little help with the springs in the bed, in the gym there is a bed with 3 red springs, one blue and one green, how do I convert this to 1, 1.5, 2.5 etc? Thanks
1 = strongest spring
1.5 = 1 strong and 1 medium spring
2.5 = 2 strongest and 1 medium spring.

Where is reformer level 3?! Love your workouts cannot wait for that one!
Brittany...I went in to film it the other day but then was called back home because of home schooling issues! So sorry! LOL. I am heading into the studio on saturday to film so hopefully will be posted soon!
Wonderful! Can’t wait! I want to do them all : ) getting me through quarantine and I appreciate them so much!
Thank you so much Nell. You’re a great teacher looking forward to doing more of your videos.

AWESOME thank you
Thanks Anne!
Thank you, I love your workouts! I don't have the box, do I need to get one to be able to do your full classes?
Thanks Yolanda, I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. The Reformer Box is a very important part of the Pilates method. If you are serious about learning all you can on the Reformer then yes, invest in a Reformer Box. You wont regret it!
Great lesson! tks!!! the only problem is i've not the box, how can i do those exercises?
Thank you Magda, investing in a reformer box is well worth it. There is so much repertoire on the reformer that requires the box and it’s very versatile. If you can’t get one, try the videos I’ve edited that don’t have the box. You can find these in the playlists in the 20 min and 10 min workouts.
