APPSHEET COURSE FROM ZERO TO EXPERT 2022 CLASS 1

HELLO I'M MANUEL ARAGONES AND WELCOME TO THE APPSHEET COURSE FROM 0 TO EXPERT 2022
This course has an eminently practical methodology but it also includes a theoretical base that we will combine with practice to achieve a deep learning of AppSheet and its use.
To begin and by way of introduction I will explain what appsheet is and how it is used, either Appsheet is a system or web application that allows us to create or design Apps that we can later use on our mobile or cell phone
There are 3 important elements that we must take into account when designing an App.
first the database, in this tool we can create the database tables in Excel or google sheets and then connect it with AppSheet or we can directly create a native database on the AppSheet web
The second important thing is to think about the tables that we are going to need and the relationships that must exist between them.
and the third thing is to design the types of data that are going to be in each column or field of the table.
WE ARE GOING TO SEE ALL OF THIS IN MORE DETAIL BELOW.
If we want to make the tables in google drive we have two options, make them in Excel in an xlsx file and upload the file to Google drive or make it directly in google drive with google sheets, the latter is the one I recommend and it is the one we are going to see from practical way in the course.
Normally in databases codes are used to ensure that each record has a unique element that identifies it, which is usually called a primary key or key field, in the case of AppSheet internally it incorporates key fields but it is always recommended to create a primary key .
The sales table that you see on the screen has no relationships, everything is registered in a table and we see that the customer data is saved several times.
In the case of having made two related tables, we would only have saved the name or code of the client and the rest of the data would be related to it.
