Second Beach, Olympic National Park, La Push - Washington State

La Push Second Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Pacific Northwest. It has a huge expanse of fine sand, towering sea stacks, mesmerizing tide pools, and interesting sea caves. Low tide allows access across a long sand spit, connecting the mainland to what are otherwise islands. Here nature rules, where bald eagles soar overhead, and sea lions dart beneath the pounding surf. Spending the night wilderness camping along this sandy beach while listening to the crashing waves is an experience that you will always remember and treasure.
