tips from someone who lived in an on campus apartment for 2 years
-get the scrubber for the dishes!!
-i got a memory foam bathmat at kohls for like $10
-i had the same duvet problem my first year of college so i got a comforter (you can find cute ones at bed, bath, and beyond on clearance)
-if this is the first time you and your roommates are responsible for buying toilet paper, soap, etc. then put a list on the fridge of what you guys need and keep track of how often each of you buy something for the apt!!! there is always 1-2 people who never buy anything and this is a good way to hold roommates accountable, and avoid resentment/awkward conversations
-pop up hampers are cute, but inconvenient when bringing laundry down to the laundry room

Hot take: I got an entire dish set (plates, bowls, small plates,etc) at goodwill they always of have tons of basically new dish sets! Also IKEA has great storage and decor and just random stuff for good prices.

also christmas tree shop (if that's near you) has great college stuff for cheap!! also five below highkey has cute decor for super cheap. ALSO hobby lobby has cute cheap decor/xmas lights (and you can download their app for a 50% off coupon)

I just posted my first "shop with me " video, funny enough with my college roommate (almost 10 year since) so crazy how so much has changed, yet Target remains the same.

Tip: I remove the duvet cover before washing both of them. Then, it doesn't get balled up or weird in the washer. I will let the duvet air dry as well if possible.
Try Tuesday Mornings! It’s on Darrow road and they have good bath mats, decorative items, pillows, kitchen stuff and more!!

You should do a video about adulting and like how much things have changed since high school. Or maybe like a q&a. Idk it just seems interesting to me cause I forgot that you're 21. I always think you're 19/20.
With the duvet, you could use elastics at the four corners to ty the inside And outside of the duvet together 😊

for the duvet problem, on the inside of the actual duvet, there are ties that you're supposed to attach to each corner of the insert!

Check Ross for bathmats. I got one for 4.99. I went to TJMax and it was still like 18 dollars. For something on the floor. Way too much for me so Ross was the way to go. I also got a basket with a lid at Ross. It was 3.99 and it was in the bathroom section but it looks exactly like the ones you have in your closet but with a lid.
