I actually liked the first person so much I did a second play through of the story without ever leaving FP. It’s rough at first but after a little while it gets easier and honestly more fun.
I like the shooting in first person but man I couldn’t do the driving or flying haha

I agree once you get driving down it becomes so much funner red dead in first person is alot of fun too

By the way, you unlock certain outfits depending on which heist approach you go with. For example, if you go with the smart approach to Vangelico, you’ll get the Bugstars jumpsuit, but if you do the loud approach, you get the jewel heist suit, which is why I always do loud. Also, Rickie is the best hacker, if you’d believe it. He gets 4% of the cut, and while his skills improve with every heist, his cut stays the same. so by the time you get to the FIB heist, he’s better than Paige and the other dude. Also, Packie, who spawns in a random event at the drug store near Franklin’s house, is the best gunman in the game. Taliana, who is another random event along the Senora freeway, is the best driver in the game. Drivers really don’t matter, especially on the first heist. Taliana just happens to have the lowest rate, so she’s the best. The low level gunmen will usually die in heists, like Norman and Daryl respectively. Only take the low level gunman on the big one. I recommend the first gunman being low level, and then picking Packie as the 2nd gunman, because the 2nd gunman will be fighting with you for the majority of the mission. Pick Daryl for the first gunman, he has the lowest rates. The first driver is on the heli, so pick Taliana. Pick the other dude with low rates for the 2nd driver. You could get both low level gunmen for maximum payout, but Packie gives dialogue if you pick him. Also, if you do the assassination missions for Lester, try to do them after the big one, so you can make money from Lester manipulating the stock market. Just look up a guide for that.

Also, low rate gunmen will die on the Paleto Score. Take Packie.
Thanks for all the info! I knew there was a smart way to go about it haha I just kind of went in blind. As for the stock market, I put in a small clip of me losing all my money because I did one of the missions and invested wrong… reloaded a manual save after that haha
@@3PointGaming No problem. Also, for more clarification on Taliana’s spawn, it’s northeast of Mt. Chiliad, just past the circle looking road at the top of the map.
Just an FYI, Franklin’s special ability isn’t just slowing down time when driving. It increases the vehicles performance essentially. So you’re able to make tighter turns at speed than normal, and you’re able to brake and accelerate quicker than normal. Another useful thing for his ability that a lot of speed runners use it for, is keeping the car on the ground. So whenever you’re approaching a bump where typically the car would get air and then land again, if you activate his special ability at the right time, the car essentially sticks to the ground and will drive over the bump/hill and not get any air. Now I’ll admit i don’t know the timing or if you have to do anything else like let off the gas or tap the brake or anything, I’ve just seen speed runners do it so I know it can be used for that
And the way you make money from the stock market is when doing Franklin’s Assassination Missions with Lester. I can’t remember if you put the money into the company that goes up or the one that goes down though. But if it’s the one that goes up, before the mission, you dump all your money with each character into the stock that’s gonna go up. Then you do the mission. Then you go to Franklin’s house or a place you can sleep. Then you create a save. Then you sleep. Then check the stock price. If it went up. Save again. Then sleep. Keep doing this until the stock doesn’t go up anymore. If it doesn’t go up anymore you can try reloading the save and sleeping again go see. (Sometimes it differs a bit at the end). Do this until the stock price doesn’t go up anymore. Then save. Then sell all the stock to make bank. Then switch characters and sell with them as well. Then save.
If it’s the other way, then you do the mission, and do the same process I said before but don’t buy any stock yet. Go somewhere you can sleep and make a save. Then sleep, check the stock. This time you want to get the stock as LOW as possible. So the same as before. If it’s lower, save and sleep again. If it’s not any lower, reload save, sleep, and check. Once it’s at it’s lowest point, dump all of your money into that stock. Do it with all 3 characters. Then you just do it in reverse. Sleep a few times, check stock, if it went up, save. Do this until the stock fully recovers or at least goes back up as much as possible. Then sell.
I can’t remember if all of them are the same or some missions you should put the money into the stock that’s gonna benefit, and others you wait for the stock that gets hurt to be low to buy then sell when it recovers. It might be a mix i don’t know I can’t remember exactly it’s been awhile lol. There’s guides online that tell you exactly what to do for each mission and what stock to put the money in so you can’t really fuck it up. If you do it right and if you do all the heists in the way to get the most money, you should have over 1 billion with each character, easily
Oh also. For anyone who doesn’t actually know about this, you wait until you finish the story first so you earn as much money from the story and all the heists as possibly first so you have the most amount of money to invest for the first assassination mission. So you don’t do any of the assassination missions until after you finish the story mode. Also avoid spending as much money as possible through the whole story until you finish and do this to fully maximize the amount of money you get from this
I was stuck on the final mission for ages. Franklins special ability got me through. Up until that point I’d never used it properly. Made the game a lot harder then it needed to br
as someone who has gotten this platinum myself I can say its a big commitment but good job on getting it

@@rashy999red dead is much easier I’m currently workin on it and only have to do exotics and bear attacks and stuff once I looked at the play requirements for gta I completely gave up on it and I don’t really give up easily

doing the first person trophy got me so used to first person that i personally love driving in first person ! plus running is faster in first person.

This is just lovely… I began playing GTA V at my moms’ place on my 100% account and got 20% of the base game in almost 2 weeks, as well as some progress on GTA online. I’m really satisfied with my progress, especially in the story. I managed to get 46 gold medals across the story missions, but now can’t play because I’ve had to come back to my dads’ and was told I can’t play it with my little brother here. Lol
Just started going for platinums after deciding I haven’t played any of my games that I e purchased over the years. I just finished Miles Morales and now working on SpiderMan remastered. Your videos helped me out a bunch! Great stuff

in the kifflom mission, the final part when delivering the money to the heli, you can run away with the money and get 2.1 million, but you gotta shoot the cultists and escape police. hope this helps!
Congrats on the plat man. GTA V was one of my favorite to get though it was years ago and getting to level 100 was easier back then (you just had to do that prison race over and over).
One thing that impresses me about the trophy/achievement hunting community is the stories you guys tell. Yes the edits and reactions are nice, but these good stories are what keep me hooked, especially when it's for games I've already played and know what happens. Hoping I can create stories like you guys one day.

I did this platinum a few years ago on Playstation 4, have around 1500 hours in the game so it didnt really feel like a big task to get the platinum. Good job, nice video! Love it

1:48 Interesting fact here, the whole thing is an Easter egg by the developers for the movie Lethal Weapon 2. A piece of the movie has one of the lead characters doing the exact same thing to the bad guys house.
I know they were divisive when the game first came out, but i really loved the heists. They were a nice way of mixing things up a bit.
I liked them overall but these days I just wanted to level up lol

4:45 yeah I noticed we’re way different when it comes to this aspect of GTA cause I loved playing in 1st person. I don’t know why but it was a much different experience than other games with 3rd and 1st person views. (I did swap to 3rd every time I had to land a chopper though) Well done on the grind and thanks for putting your sanity on hold to entertain us ❤

I had a similar method
First person for walking/shooting, 3rd person for driving
I also did ff16 platinum today, great experience but the hardest part is final fantasy mode( hard mode ) you can beat it very easily by using cheat rings that the game have or you can make this hard insane for not using any rings , still great though , easily 60-70h platinum

GTA 5 platinum isn't hard.
The hard part is to get 100% because the Doomsday Elite and Criminal Mastermind challenges are the hardest part of the whole game.
I did 77/78. All except Doomsday Criminal Mastermind. But that will come soon too.

If anyone is putting off getting the platinum because of having to get Gold on 70 missions, just know that you can replay the mission after completion and even get each objective done on separate replays.
I remember this particular mission (The Long Stretch) that I had to replay roughly 4 times, and each time focusing on a different challenge. Tough, but I eventually made it!

subscribed and clicked the bell icon, watched san andreas and now watching this one at work, been slowly getting into trophy hunting on my private account, really enjoy the commentary and edit as well, as someone who is HORRIBLE at both right now its cool to see how well it can be done when you got the skills to do it, i do think there are certain games that if you are going for the platinum trophy and if you have a understanding girlfriend or girlfriends (dont judge a guy) this is one of those games where you can kinda bring them into gaming with it as a "baby check the guide please" girl and play the game together

Random Tip!
In the first heist, you are better selecting a Bad driver, because the only thing he will do is giving you worse bikes and is not that important tbh
You also dont need a good hacker, select the worse one (the one from life invader), you will only get 60 seconds, but one of the extra objectives is robbing the store in that amount of time so is actually better
The only one you actually need is a good gunsman because if you select a bad one he will die, you can also select a bad one and pick up what he left but is better just to have one good dude (it can be the dude from Gta 4)

The game came out in 2013. Everyone who grinded the story had at least the story related trophies. And soon after the game came out Online was released. So for all player who also grinded the story besides the mission and played a bit online over the time, there is a high chance to get on Level 100 and receive some trophies or already started with them.

Got it last night, took me nearly 300 hours to platinum the PS5 version of the game for the first time ever and it goes down as my proudest platinum trophy of all time. Not bad to mark off the 10 years later this games been with us, roll on Vl!

Dude I have to say your videos turned me into a platinum chasing monster. Just got Star Wars fallen order yesterday. I have a choice what to start next gta5, Jedi survivor or robocop rogue city. What game would you choose out these ??? I played Jedi order on my ps portal and was really impressed. Platinum number 9 this year. I like to get my money worth out of games and this is it.
