I witnessed a young man die from diving in this pool yesterday. It was instant. I ran 2 miles to call 911. Videos of people diving into this pool are misleading and dangerous. Please don't advertise this activity!!
Southpark Butters it’s a 2 mile hike in so you would have to pack in that wetsuit for a 4 mile round trip, but I guess you could. I wouldn’t recommend jumping in!
Since I did not return to the scene once down the mountain and returned home next day, I discovered through the news that the man miraculous survived after being submerged for several minutes then pulled out and and life flighted to the hospital in Bend. Amazing. Literally a miracle.
Never get tired of seeing how beautiful this place is. We really are fortunate enough to have places like this (Blue Pool) for us to enjoy but also protect and respect. Great video btw 🤙🏼 and I also would recommend testing the waters first before getting in because of how cold it is (37°) After 20min or so my body got used to the water and I was able to swim around without a problem but I definitely wouldn’t recommend jumping in before actually getting a feel as too how cold the water really is 🥶 be safe out there guys ♥️
Thanks for your comment! The blue pool is one of my favorite places to hike to for sure, it is so beautiful. That’s good advice about the water! Haha I don’t know if I will be getting in it again though 😆
Kaleb Campean The trail will need to be cleared and redone. The wooden bridges will need to be rebuilt as well. It may take a year or two till is ready
This Blue Pool in Oregon is extremely dangerous and has taken multiple people's lives. It's extremely deep (doesn't look like it because of how clear the water is) 30 feet to be exact and extremely cold. Please don't dive in or jump in from on top of rocks.
Alfredo Barragan Oregon has a pretty temperate climate, so at most it was probably 80 degrees that day. It is a very enjoyable hike and not too hot! :)
This is not something he should be doing...especially if his wife who Carrie's the baby has to hike back 2 miles to get help. Immature choice that could be fatal.
Jesse .13. Oh I’m so sorry! Haha I just uploaded a video about Balboa Park. Yeah you’re right! It is 2.2 miles in to the pool, so 4.4 miles round trip I believe
Jesse .13. Yeah it was a while ago so I am trying to remember. I would say an hour to an hour and a half. The hike is pretty easy, not a lot of steep slopes to climb up or down.
Careful you don't want to lose consciousness from the cold. It would be a very hard rescue and you might even get your loved ones killed trying to save you!
This place is simply amazing pictures and videos do not come close to the actual colors of the H2O. Now, listen carefully BRING A FULL SUIT 4/3 WITH BOOTIES AND A HOODIE IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ONE. This water is bone chilling, life altering, brain freezing, cold. You can not speak as you exit the water. Simply too cold. Recommend a quick dip from the bottom after the hike. Relieves all the sore muscles. For the alpha males .... do not leave this spot without jumping in. 💪🏽

Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry to hear that! I will add a warning to the description. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
I've heard lots die from the cold so can u 2ear a wet suit?

I am so glad to hear that he is okay! I have also changed the title of the video to discourage jumping in the pool. Thank you for your concern!
Wow! Stunningly beautiful. Great video and soundtrack. Absolute zen!!!
Thank you!
I've swam here, and I know just how cold it can be, so major props to jumping in.
Thank you! It was crazy cold and kind of dumb of me haha

@@ZachandKatelyn yeah ngl it’s freezing but it’s so beautiful makes you wanna get in lol 😅
@@vashthestampedeo_o6367 exactly! 😂
thanks for the advice
This was one of my favorite places to go. All of the beauty is now gone due to fires. I miss it so much.
Ahh shoot it’s gone😔 Do you think it will still be accessible after the fires die down?
Kaleb Campean The trail will need to be cleared and redone. The wooden bridges will need to be rebuilt as well. It may take a year or two till is ready
Yes I went here and it sucks it is gone
FYI, for anybody interested, the water temp is about 37 degree (Fahrenheit) year round!
Nice video guys! What a lovely state we have here in Oregon; so many beautiful things to see and experience. Thank you for sharing.
aterseraph thanks for your comment! We really love Oregon and hope to visit again soon! 😊
just discovered your channel and love this video! water looks absolutely beautiful
Brookly Miner thank you so much! We appreciate your support!
That plunge pool looks so great 😀
It's very unfortunate though that going in is very dangerous ☹️
Yeah it’s beautiful huh? But it is insanely cold!
It’s so clear because it’s so cold, algae’s can’t grow in it
Nice video! Good call on the danger. So many rescues here.
Thank you! Yeah a lot of people commented about how hazardous it was and I had no idea! I appreciate your comment!
So pretty! Can’t wait to see it in person!
Yeah it’s one of our favorites for sure! The hike in is really nice as well.
So cold! Beautiful blue 💙
Just found you on UA-cam, I am from the UK and it’s lovely to see your beautiful country. Take care. PS just subscribed to your channel thumbs up
Steve Wales thank you so much! We appreciate it and we would love to visit the UK sometime!
awesome views thanks for sharing...love the blue pool💯👍🏻
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
It is soooo beautiful .. #blue pool 💙 I wonder how deep it is??
Yeah that’s a good question! I don’t think it’s too deep, but I could be wrong
@@ZachandKatelyn 30+ feet.
@@trappbhabieyou’re right. 30-40 feet in spots.
Love your videos hope you keep making them and stay happy 🥰
Brett keane hey thanks a lot! That’s very nice of you. I am planning on posting one tonight!
Brett keane just kidding I won’t be able to upload one tonight. But I will soon! :)

I'm wondering if jumping there is as cold as jumping in to lake Michigan or lake Ontario 😊
Good question! It’s probably not quite as cold, but it’s hard for me to imagine water colder than that! Haha
I’ve jumped in but now I’m like terrified I didn’t know you could drown from it being that cold
Yeah! It’s so insanely cold! Haha
Your body goes into shock and your muscles paralyze themselves, always swim there with a friend or be extremely careful (NEVER DO IT ALONE)
Safe hike? No bears? I was terrified seeing them on the way there but didn’t complete the trail to find the blue lake. Got lost and too scared to
We’ve done the hike many times without any bear sightings. We love it and highly recommend it!
Same! Walked for 15 minutes and walked back got too isolated and thought of bears !
Is it cold everytime? Or just in like winter
It’s always super cold!
I hiked there yesterday
Very cool! :) It’s one of our favorite hikes. Thanks for subscribing!
So you went August 1st? Preety much still summer right. I would imagine it be like 100 degrees out in mid July, how hot was it when you went?
Alfredo Barragan Oregon has a pretty temperate climate, so at most it was probably 80 degrees that day. It is a very enjoyable hike and not too hot! :)
Idk if you’re from Oregon but next time you’re down near souther Oregon go to Terwilliger hot springs
That sounds like a great idea. We will have to go check that out next time we visit! Thanks for the tip!
Just went there today I jumped off the 57 cliff I’ll post it on UA-cam
DownDinosaur494 that’s insane!
Yeah it was a lot of fun next time you come to Oregon you should go to slide rock and salmon falls
DownDinosaur494 I will definitely keep those in mind! Hopefully I can visit Oregon again soon!
Do you have a Instagram for your UA-cam channel
Two serious injuries in two weeks up there. (as of May 30, 2020). Search and Rescue is getting overworked.
Yikes! Yeah it’s a popular spot. Hopefully people are careful and stay safe!

Great video !!!
Thank you!
What’s the hike called? Is it by Klamath falls?
The hike is called Tamolitch Falls I believe. It’s 3 and a half hours north of Klamath Falls
@@ZachandKatelyn thanks cool edit by the way.
@@C9yuriar thank you!
How much to get in?
It’s a free hike!
How long did you walk to get there from your parking spot ?
Are you talking about Balboa park? It was probably a 10 minute walk.
I'm talking about the blue pool ?isn't called olso tamolich falls ???

Maybe one day! :) we would love to travel to India too!

Hot Take you’re right! I didn’t realize how risky this was at the time. I made sure to add warnings to the title and description to discourage this.

Help prevent forest fires. Advocate deforestation!
The reason it’s blue is because the bottom is made up of volcanic rock that filters the water and turns it blue
Very cool! That is good to know!
Less music more describing what it feels like just beautiful tho tha k u
I’m trying to get that girl in the white Bali i on the rocks number
