Wonderful selection of patterns. Brilliant, so many looks/ choices from these awesome patterns. Many thanks for a great video that’s full of inspiration.
Great choices and many I haven't seen. I have made the George and Ginger 40K Sway top and it turned out great. Thanks sew much for another excellent video.
Thank you so much for doing all this research and sharing your results. You've found many nice parents. I'm going to make the Helene from diy-hemmers that is on your extended list.
Downloaded the Closet Core Tee and the Women’s Baggy VNeck Tee right away! I’m going on a big trip soon and could use a few more tops in my capsule wardrobe!!
in terms of tunics, loose tops and pants i also recommend Elizabeth Suzann’s patterns! they are pay what you want and they’re very beginner friendly. the pants pattern they have reminds me a lot of the Petra Pants pattern that is so popular
Yes, that’s true! I didn’t realize they are still Pay what you can. I did a whole video on them two years ago when she released them for free for a few months. They really are great pieces for any spring wardrobe.
@@Lisamakes unfortunately shortly after writing this comment i opened up my email to see a new email from Elizabeth Suzann stating that they’ve redone their patterns section and will now be charging for them! unfortunate timing, but they were excellent patterns and i’m honestly surprised they were able to offer like. 4 or 5 good basic flexible patterns for low cost, for so long
The Core T is a TNT for me. I'd definitely recommend! Nice to see some free patterns I've not heard of before. I'm looking forward to checking them out!
help i learned to sew 41 years ago and have recently picked it up again Due to memory loss from a coma and having MS its like starting from the beginning I don't remember much and you also have a new subscriber
Thanks for subscribing, Alexandria! I’m glad to hear you are getting back into sewing! Step by step you will get back to where you were and have a wonderful hobby to enjoy. ❤️
I like that you’re going to re-purpose your Gilbert top! As sewists I think it’s important to be as sustainable as possible! It’s a good color for you too!
I am totally getting the harem pants and most of the free tshirts. Thanks Lisa. BTW - Fabricland is about to open a store at Bloor and Yonge - just a crabscuttle away from me! #yyz #yay
These are great- thanks for sharing! 😍❤ I’m glad to see Grasser Patterns is still around- I really like their patterns! They had to take down their Etsy shop awhile back (due war related complications), and I haven’t checked in awhile to see if they have it back up again, but I’m glad to see their website is available! 😊
Great info here! Thanks so sew much. New here to your channel. I'm plus size and going on a cruise. Is there a simple swim suit cover up pattern to make with gauze that you recommend?. It can be a simple pull over short dress or a kimono style. And peeps, where do you recommend delicious gauze fabric?. I'm in America. Joann is an hour away so I don't mind ordering online.
Welcome, welcome! I love this tutorial for a beech Cover-Up- looks simple and so chic sweetredpoppy.com/learn-how-to-sew-an-easy-swimsuit-coverup-joann/

A nice capsule collection.
Thanks, Katrina!

I bought some nice double gauze from Joann's. It came in 54" wide. Sewed up great after washing and drying.
Amazing!
Hi! At the beginning of the video, what is the mustard dress second from the left at the top?
That is one of the ones I linked in the Patreon article. www.sewmag.co.uk/templates/sew-152-august-21-eloisa-multi-make
I can’t seem to find a navy blue ribbed knit fabric do you have any suggestions I live in United States California ?
Hmmm, I’m Canadian living in Spain so I’m not familiar with American suppliers. You could try Blackbird Fabrics who had good shipping to the US.
Lol, now all I need is free fabric and a free sewing machine!
If you are in the State or Canada, check “Freecycle” or free give/trade groups on FB.
@@Lisamakes that's a great idea!
👏👗
Gish great patterns but you went so fast through them it was hard to enjoy
I’m sorry to hear that! I had a lot to fit in. :) hopefully you clicked through to some of the patterns for a closer look.
