It's because the facial transformation can be too bizarre to witness for many humans... What's happening in this video, and it happens constantly to many huge musicians, is that these "fans" are actually people who try to have records, cd's or merch signed by the artist, which they then turn around and sell for hundreds and sometimes thousands (depending on what and who), to actual fans. They're basically like paparazzi meets scalpers. They don't act like actual fans and the artists and security know who they are because they're "repeat offenders" who just want to take advantage of people who will pay anything for a product with their "idols" signature. Madonna, like many other singers, doesn't treat her actual fans like this on a bad day.

She must have been having a bad day, or she's just tired of people hassling her all the time. I happened upon Madonna in Vegas, in the 90's. It was super late and my friends and I stumbled into a cafe inside the MGM Grand Hotel. There, sitting in the corner round booth was none other than the lady herself, Madonna. She had a small entourage of maybe 4 people with her. After staring at her for what seemed like forever, I mustered the courage to walk over to her table. I'm sure I sounded and looked stupid, but it went something like this "Hi, I really don't want to bother you or ask for a picture/autograph, but I just wanted to say I love your music and what you do". She just smiled and giggled, then stuck out her hand for a handshake.. To this day I am in love with this woman....

Michael Jackson once told the story that she and he were on a date at a restaurant and some kids came running up to them and wanted their autograph and she yelled at them to get away. He then told her not to EVER be mean to a child in front of him and she then told him to “Shut up” and he told her “No, YOU shut up!” He called her a “Nasty Witch.” I love her as an artist, but her behavior is deplorable. I've ran into quite a bit in my 35 years of living, especially at a medium scale coffee shop/cafe place down Highland Avenue (it was popular because they had a private spot that had a nice view but mirror reflective windows they had for VIP) a lot of business meetings held there. I had a similar attitude, if they didnt look busy, I'd gentle approach and say Hi and mentioned I liked their work. Nearly all of them were polite in return (only once one older A-list actor was like "yup, nice to meet you" turned his back and pressed on. The key is not asking them for anything (autograph, selfie, etc) they're used to being hounded for something. One rocker (I'm not going to mention to respect his privacy) asked me about my concert story when seeing them for the first time, but politely interrupted and said: Here's my number, call me sometime and tell me more about it" handed me his card. I ended up talking to him over the phone a week or so later, and then again a few months later. Long as you don"t "fan boy" out, some of them keep in touch with their fans over the years.

What's happening in this video, and it happens constantly to many huge musicians, is that these "fans" are actually people who try to have records, cd's or merch signed by the artist, which they then turn around and sell for hundreds and sometimes thousands (depending on what and who), to actual fans. They're basically like paparazzi meets scalpers. They don't act like actual fans and the artists and security know who they are because they're "repeat offenders" who just want to take advantage of people who will pay anything for a product with their "idols" signature. Madonna, like many other singers, doesn't treat her actual fans like this on a bad day.

She must have been having a bad day, or she's just tired of people hassling her all the time. I happened upon Madonna in Vegas, in the 90's. It was super late and my friends and I stumbled into a cafe inside the MGM Grand Hotel. There, sitting in the corner round booth was none other than the lady herself, Madonna. She had a small entourage of maybe 4 people with her. After staring at her for what seemed like forever, I mustered the courage to walk over to her table. I'm sure I sounded and looked stupid, but it went something like this "Hi, I really don't want to bother you or ask for a picture/autograph, but I just wanted to say I love your music and what you do". She just smiled and giggled, then stuck out her hand for a handshake.. To this day I am in love with this woman....

Michael Jackson once told the story that she and he were on a date at a restaurant and some kids came running up to them and wanted their autograph and she yelled at them to get away. He then told her not to EVER be mean to a child in front of him and she then told him to “Shut up” and he told her “No, YOU shut up!” He called her a “Nasty Witch.” I love her as an artist, but her behavior is deplorable. I usually don't like to bother celebrities when i face him on streets or other places, even though if they are close friends or people i know, it is as if i wanted something in return, like saying "i want something from you", but people is obsessed with social recognizment
I've ran into quite a bit in my 35 years of living, especially at a medium scale coffee shop/cafe place down Highland Avenue (it was popular because they had a private spot that had a nice view but mirror reflective windows they had for VIP) a lot of business meetings held there. I had a similar attitude, if they didnt look busy, I'd gentle approach and say Hi and mentioned I liked their work. Nearly all of them were polite in return (only once one older A-list actor was like "yup, nice to meet you" turned his back and pressed on. The key is not asking them for anything (autograph, selfie, etc) they're used to being hounded for something. One rocker (I'm not going to mention to respect his privacy) asked me about my concert story when seeing them for the first time, but politely interrupted and said: Here's my number, call me sometime and tell me more about it" handed me his card. I ended up talking to him over the phone a week or so later, and then again a few months later. Long as you don"t "fan boy" out, some of them keep in touch with their fans over the years.
