My violin teacher suggested wrapping a rubber band to where the pinky goes. I did it and it really helps. I also do the windshield wiper before attempting to play anything. Your suggestions here and in other videos are spot-on. Thank you for taking the time to help us newbies.
Hi, I found this video is super helpful here!!! (already make the note and have my kid practice base on this for warming up.) I have a quite question, since her bowing is still not really stable, is that ok she practice just the first 3 tips. Since her arm wobble a lot when she try to do sloppy hands. ( She learns for a year so far and is 7 years old now). Thanks for all these tips. I will dig in more. I'm very grateful for these videos.
I'm a beginner I play the d major scale all on the d string to practice shifting but my bow shakes when I shift down playing backwards through the scale. I practice 3 hrs a day so I'm trying hard I have to learn violin to play my compositions live
