Im usually not a fan of these super clean show type trucks. But those 12gauge mirror brackets are worth every penny!
yeah those brackets are CLEAN! And this will not be a show truck, it will be on the road here shortly soon as someone buys it. Our last build the blue day cab went to a farmer who liver abut an hour away from us
Wow that truck turned out great👍 I’d live to see more videos like this

i would like to see a 579 Peterbilt day cab all prettied up once.
one of the guys that pull our livestock trailers has a 579 ill see what we can do. I know he had me order exhaust for it so maybe ill talk him into some more lol
What cab/cowl panels are those? And all the lights are trux I’m assuming? Haven’t seen the ones like you used where the whole lense appears to be chrome...
the panels are trux and they are available on our site here is the link mcdonaldchromeshop.com/products/tp-1336?_pos=18&_sid=f228936ba&_ss=r the mirror bezel is not on our site yet but goes for around $5.99ea
Beautiful truck i just aint real fond of the single round headlights. Other than that. Top notch pete
everyone has their own look. we have to change things up or we just build the same truck all the time lol. thanks for checking it out. heres the finished project ua-cam.com/video/r5Q5xR3Yi4s/v-deo.html
Damn! I think you’ve surpassed the blue truck
thanks! we hope so lol the price tag will be a hair more on this one but really not much. but we used better seats, added things like stainless fenders and custom mirror brackets. We will see what everyone thinks when the final video gets released hopefully late this week! thanks for checking it out
Love the trucks you guys are building! Beautiful WORK trucks that someone can actually afford

ทำรถได้สวยมากครับ
1 question, why block 🚫 your mirrors with the stacks, why not put them behind the cab unless you gonna install sleeper ? i know it is a personal preference too, but still. I drove Pete's all my life. In Brooklyn, NY. ( 24 years ) 👍🤞🇺🇲
if you mount everything correctly they do not block your vision. up the side looks better to most people. but everyone has their own style
Beautiful truck😎👌... where can I get those blue lights?
We sell them at mcdonaldchromeshop.com if you need any more help our contact information is in the description of the video. Thanks for watching. We are having issues with our online credit card processor hopefully they will have it fixed by end of today. PayPal is still working or we can help you over the phone if needed. Thanks for watching
I have a 1984 Peterbilt what do I need to install a day cab conversion on it
we sell the kit on our website you just mark it out, cut the hole, im guessing you want to make it the unibuilt hole for the more room
Dam that's nice, Is she for sale?
Yes she will be for sale by the end of the week. We will have a final video showing the cost of each item and the cost of the build in full. If anyone is interested that can call us at 7126523834 or email mcdonaldchromeshop@icloud.com
We will announce our asking price in the last video. Thank you for watching
what size rear fenders ?
front fenders? they are 4.5'' from talladega fiberglass they are available on our website www.mcdonaldchromeshop.com
Nice build!
My asshole always puckers up when I start drilling holes in the stainless fenders!
Seen too many dumbasses get in a hurry and put holes where they don't need holes!
agreed lol. Our dad walked in one day when we were hole sawing 16 4" round holes into a customers brand new 389 bunk with less than 300 miles on it. he was not impressed lol
They lost me when they put them short ass stacks on it!!!!
short stacks? you mean picket elbows? because this exhaust is all of 13'6"
Merely a cosmetic restoration it’s still the same old wore out truck underneath all the shiny new parts.
your point? we showed and explained exactly what we did to this truck. the miles on this truck. the condition of this truck.
I wish you guys did not fast forward the video, so we can see everything how its done. thanks
we have found most people switch to other videos if wee go to slor. But we are working on slowing down and explaining how we do many of the things we do to the trucks. Honestly right now its a time thing, since im the only one that films and does all editing along with the only person who runs the chrome shop and does the day to day running of our washout. My older brother has had to step up to fill in more for the overall managing roll in our business since my dads health has been declining. This is a family run business with 10 employees, we are hopping after this crazy virus stuff passes and things get back to normal we can hopefully find someone to hire and focus more on this part of our business. We are also thinking about putting together how to videos including all tools used and more for people that have questions can watch but we are just not to that point yet. Thank you for checking out the videos and hope we get some more content up that you enjoy
@@McDonaldChromeShop i appreciate it friend. Thanks for the reply, and hard work. Cool stuff you guys make on these trucks.
