So the green arrows just indicate when you are SAVING relative to the usual price at that location, not necessarily saving vs the BEST price to buy it at (somewhere else). Thank you for clearing this up, and for the spreadsheet from the other person. SUPERB.
Dude,i am happy to see this and found it very helpful. You got a new subscriber,i was very confused by this trading thing too! 😆 Also big ups to the person responsible for the spreadsheet, you are the real mvp for that!
if you are a suikoden 2 player that arrow would actually not make sense to you because the process is really go to the town where it is being sold low and sell it to the town where it is being bought high
The arrow made perfect sense to me and, suikoden 2 is my favorite game of all time. I also read what the screen was telling me and, I knew selling my diamonds for less than I bought them for was a bad trade regardless of what the arrows were telling me. It's also super clear that the blue and, red arrows strictly refer to that town for the same reason as above.
Glad that when I was around 14 years old playing Suikoden 3, I paid attention to the prices as I moved towns and noticed the differences. Since then I’ve been looking for that system in every game I play, sadly theres only a handful that I’ve found and none of which are as well known as Suikoden
I'm really enjoying Eiyuden Chronicles as a long time Suikoden fan, but the lack of clarity in alot of this is rough. I really hope the game does well enough to get a sequel, because I think the company has potential to pick up the torch and carry it based on this first attempt, but so much of the game feels like a beta test. The trading system is a perfect example of that, because I legit thought they streamlined trading from Suikoden with the arrows up and down, but nope the arrows just confuse everything.
The lack of clarity is amazing. This is exactly how the old suikoden games operated. No one held your hand and, told you how the systems worked hell it didn't even have a tutorial just threw you straight into the deep end with one of the best secrets in the game in the first five minutes or, so.
Also let's be clear here if you didn't notice that you paid a lot more for something in one town than you did in another it's because you were not paying attention and, then it's just process of elimination to figure out what the best towns to sell things in were. Took me nearly 4 hours of trading with no guides to unlock the achievement for making 1 mil in profits because I was reading what the screen told me.
I'm dumb too. I thinked before you're video that arrows works like you before. I'm trying success for 1 million and i'm sutck at 20k... Thx so much for your video !
I would have never unlocked all the characters if it wasn’t for the internet. My memory is terrible when it comes to numbers and I’m not making a spreadsheet to play a video game
Of course but many people didn't notice the items base price would change based on the city so lots of us were buying at 80% and selling at 110% but still losing money.
The game doesnt show Profit for Buying price & Selling price in the UI. i thought all the base prices were same in everytown. only the percentage is different. LOL
Hello great video slightly incorrect 1 - Note the different purchase prices: ok 2 - See where to sell them according to the table do not do because every 15 Min the game resets the price we can see it in your video you noted the diamonds as 2500 except on your video it is 2400 because between the time that you write down all the prices and understand where to sell them 15/20 min have passed, and the prices have changed which results in a false table. many people do it to get Hogan and don't succeed and think of a bug outside this is not a bug but the price which has changed between the time of writing, watching and where better to sell them which leads to certain cities having increases and decreases = not enough profit to validate the prerequisites for Hogan 3 - you just have to travel from city to city and look, just use the table to remind you of the purchase price and know the difference and get double or even triple it can be annoying but very profitable 4- Certain cities are specific for the resale of certain objects like diamonds, it is always Ardinal city.I'll let you discover the other cities and their advantages. thank you again for your video and good luck for your future other videos
The table is not false. It gives you the average price without the up or down %. It still shows you the best place to buy and sell items. The items do not reset prices every 15 min the base prices are consistent just the % up and down changes. So diamonds are 2500 always in werne but you will buy then for + or - 20% but even buying high and selling low will net you a profit if you follow the table.
What century do you live in? Gaming has been mainstream for decades, friend. The idea that gamers are nerds is a desire to play victim. It’s people identifying too much with their hobby and wanting to feel like it’s exclusive and that they’re misunderstood, special boys. It hasn’t been accurate since like the 80s, if then. All the guys and plenty of the girls I knew in the late 90s in high school were playing video games. All the ones you knew whenever you were in school did, too.

thats insane, I assumed exactly the same about the arrows obviously, thats how trading works irl lol
I spent many hours doing this for hogan to say your halfway lol, that spreadsheet was a godsend.
Ditto. I actually lost money and at one point he said I hadn't started. I was like ok there is something I'm not understanding here
Thanks for this. I had no idea how trading worked.

recruiting Gordon is very annoying haha

try no man's sky, the easy way to upgrade everything

thank you for the tips...
I had today Problems to recruit Hogan..
When i realized the arrows are not important....
You are lifesaver
Great video thank you
You can cheese the trading character. Everything you buy before talking to him will count as profit when selling them
That's neat. Still it only takes like 10 min to make the profit he wants with the spreadsheet
Nice video, I was on the same boat for sure.
This helped a lot bro TY.
I'm dumb too. I thinked before you're video that arrows works like you before. I'm trying success for 1 million and i'm sutck at 20k... Thx so much for your video !

Your memory is not terrible I'm not playing a rpg with a notebook taking notes.
Word, and I'm annoyed I have to use a spreadsheet just to unlock trader guy
I thought as you did, too. What a horrible way the game chooses to explain this mechanic (which is next to nothing.) Thanks so much for this guide.
I just buy low and sell high, like in a stock market...works beautifully...
Of course but many people didn't notice the items base price would change based on the city so lots of us were buying at 80% and selling at 110% but still losing money.
OMG... I'm so stupid! 🤦🏻♂️
THX Bro! 🤠🍻
castle is the worst but has access to every item
thanks so much !
Paintings and Carvings all ya need =)
Can anyone simplify the spreadsheet down to where to buy and sell without prices included?
thanks brother
Not sure if this is noted you have to talk to Hogan from who is from Rising in HH first it does not count your already trade
The game doesnt show Profit for Buying price & Selling price in the UI.
i thought all the base prices were same in everytown. only the percentage is different. LOL
Same. I think a lot of people were in that boat
If you are dumb, then so am i... i thought the same! Okay, now i can pick up that croco..
I was making the same mistake.
Is there a menu where it shows total gain/loss?
The only reason I play Suikoden/mount & blade. The arrow thing is in suikoden 3?!

So basically buy everything with red arrows everything with blue arrows
@@timthewarlord2304 not at all
@@purplatypus7405 sorry I meant to say sell everything with blue arrows
You havent play suikoden?
Man this trading is probably the worst thing about the game. I preferred the lam bug 😂
Omg... I'm going to skip Hogan. This is totally homework
Omg the arrows is so misleading…. Tq
Tell me you've never played Suikoden without telling me you've never played Suikoden :)
Like you have a girlfriend lol.....just playing. It's the joke gamers are nerds and nerds don't have girlfriends lol.
