I think I had this on PS2. It was more like a Super Mario Sunshine-type game, where you went around the islands as Furcorn collecting diamonds, coins, or whatever to unlock more characters and expand the song on each level.
my brother remembers seeing a trailer for this back in 2004, it showed off this song as the trailer music and he remembers distinctly the trailer feeding a weird mosquito monster on the island until it got really big and it was louder. I'm guessing hes talking about floogull? Which is weird, maybe he was an old concept they scrapped and reused later for DoF? What else do you know about the demo disk?
Yeah I think that was an early design for Floogull. The version I found in the files leans a bit more into a flower inspired design, so that might have been changed during development. As for the demo disk, I believe it holds what was initially the full game. I'm pretty busy during the holidays, but I'll try to show off some more songs from the disk, maybe see if I can extract stuff like monster designs and backgrounds as well.
Yeah hearing them for the first time caught me off guard a bit as well. It seems that the devs at BBB have been slowing reintroducing things from this version over the years. I think Ethereal workshop is one of the last big things from this build they added into the 2012 release.
I REMEMBER THIS VERSION OF THE SONG Back then before a flood destroyed the disk in our basement, I remember loving this game when I was younger, I do remember some things about it First, the drum monsters reminded me of gaddzooks in a way, just of sea trash and being an octopus I also remember the whistling monster, spunge, to look a lot more pourus, having a lot of holes Last, the Jeeode sounding monster looked like a mix between Jeeode and auglur, I was kinda freaked out about it when I was a child
This is the first time I'm hearing about a 3ds version. Would you happen to have anymore info about it? Like when development began for it or something?
@@ThatWaterDudeFromKirby i remember the time when air island released they putted reedling on air for some reason (probably a glitch) after that it got replaced by scups
My muppets show ship stage
but better
This is a mix of the pirate level from my muppets and water island, and it surprisingly fits!

Actually, this sounds like such a fun 3d platforming MSM game. If this is what MSM Playground was, I wouldn't be upset at all
The old BBB log makes me feel old

This would be crazy if it was real

Does that mean that MMS Ship Stage was an callback to the cancelled GC MSM Water Island song?
This makes mes feels likes I'ms on a pirate ship
I remember owning this in 2001 but lost it due to me leaving it on a plane in september
Nice joke
This slaps tbh

Yes.
no
@NewCouch Erm, actually, the answer is yes, so, you probably didn't do much research!
@@RobotBoi1 msm definitely didn't take 7 or more years to release
@NewCouch and what are you some kind of game developer or something you think you can do faster
What is this?
I this real?
This clearly fake but how would the game even function on a gamecube
The GameCube is more powerful than you think
@ I mean how would it play on a gamecube, like what would it be, this "music" for the game is clearly a background track
stop the cap
Water island if it was good
