Lyrics:
Something's gotta change
Sounds of laughter and happiness turn my teardrops to rain
Been bearing this burden for too many of my days
Looks like breezes of Autumn done finally blew my way
Like memories of yesterday
#Outkast #13thFloor #GrowingOld
One of the dopest songs of all time, period.
I swear
My fav song off this album
@@reckless7383 I’m off
Yes indeed , beautiful piano and message during untro of song too
This is a masterpiece
Rest In Paradise Rico Wade
THIS IS THE GREATEST, HARDEST, AND MOST TRUTHFUL RHYME EVER
1996 was the greatest year of all times in Rap.
94
Facts
Shit the whole 90s 😂
Early 90's was definitely pinnacle IMHO
1994 ❤
I revisit this masterpiece called ATLiens every couple years or so… I loved this track especially as a kid but my 15 yr old ears didn’t fully appreciate how masterful it was/is. Now as a complete woman it hits so much differently but in the best way … longing for a time that’s no more yet optimistic for a future filled with possibilities
Thank you OutKast ❤
This was a real musical album, Dungeon Family really put their hearts into this entire project. The first time I listened to this album I felt everything. That’s music..that’s real music.
25 years later I still feel everything. Greatest Hip Hop album of all time
I was in high school when this came out. Now I'm 40. Krazy how things change.
Growing Young 😁
I’am 44 now…lol
Glad we are here 🙏
@@newera5238 I know that's right. 1luv..
Me to ans didn't understand it till I got older
Same
46!!! June 12th Black don’t crack
Best rap group ever, facts ❤.
I always come back to visit this one. A time when my life was breezy and cheezy. Man, lost friends, fam, this jam takes all that away, for some reason. Thank you Outkast. Takin' me back to being 15 again. I love you guys.
🍻
This track is BEAUTIFUL, everything from spoken-word intro to Andre's last words, "growing old."
The only song that really calms me. No mather how i feel. This song heals me.
A lot happened in 96’ God put something in these brothers to awakened people. No one free when others are oppressed- Andre 3000
Thank you OUTKAST!! With wars raging against us(so called blacks) worldwide. I lean on songs like this FROM THE GREATEST RAP GROUP OF ALL TIME to get through the day!!! #APTMH Brothers and Sisters our salvation is finally coming 🙏🏾💪🏿
One of the dopest ever. So relevant now in 2024. Bring back Outkast.
We really had something. Had so much hope for the future then in 96. Now here in the future 2024 I’m thankful for every second of life. every gain every loss means so much more now. RIP Rico Wade.
Some good old Southwest Atlanta music missed being smoked out riding through the hood with best friend Tony who passed away 2 years ago RIP Black
Used to Bump this in the Kia Sephia. A special shout to the Dungeon Family. Rest in Power Rico Wade!
Now that I'm in my 40's this fuckin track hits so much harder man..... One of the greatest tracks in Rap history. EASILY!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I want Rube's intro on a T-shirt. This song makes me cry, every damn time.❤
It’s the Hook, the spoken word, and the verses for me! I love music from this era as they gave us more than 2 mins! Kast was the best to ever do it.
GZA - BIBLE
"Looks like breezes of autumn have finally blew my way"
Real shit but we’re more colorful now cause of our experiences
So many memories. I was raised on this album.
I literally try to rap along with it but tear up real shit
Facts, Andre's part make me sad as hell then Debra Killings does the hook and make my eyes water up. Felt it in my own life type of shit ✌🏾
Edit; didn't even mention Big Rube talking the realest poem like verse ever
@@RaytheGrayt yea Big Rube part is too REAL.
I remember when I bought this album, I’d just turned 17 and two weeks later🤦♂️…………,.RIP PAC
OutKasT and the Dungeon the Best of the industry
I was 18 and remember it the exact same way.
Same, brother. Was 17 in the summer of ‘96. This album is spiritual to me
Just turned 22 trying to go back and gain some knowledge on the goats of the game and this song/album is just levels above the stuff guys put out today. I’ve only heard it one time through and I love it.
I've always loved this record. Haven't listened to it in years. Wanted to revisit this after the recent passing of Rico Wade.
Kings of the South....💯💯💯
This song makes me think of my youth 48 now 20 then, lol got a child that's 20yrs old now.

This is so peaceful, it hurts deep in the soul. A true masterpiece.
I’ve never seen a song do this to so many people. I’ve been crying tears every year since 1996. Always in the fall this song gets me. So many thanks to these Bois.
This contains an inflection on the mortality of us..the reality is that one minute we are young and immortal and the next we are middle aged and wondering where the time went. This song is deep and full of nostalgia!
Straight up one of the most powerful songs ever made
Happy 25th to this album.
A beautiful song.. everything about the ATLiens album is perfection.. from start to finish.
Like memories of yesterday
I'm trying to love on men, no homo
This song is slept on!!!
🔥🔥🔥 classic , ATLiens album is ahead of it's time!
2024 in here!!!
23 years ago this got this confused wild cat thru some shit. Thank You
Gratitude.
Ps Peace to The Dungeon Fam and Debra Killings.
I still listen 20 years later. Timeless music
Man this song is my childhood riding the bus to school!
Andre 3000 is a legend and please keep it flowin 🔥🔥🔥
Such a great way to close out the album. The callback sample from elevators, the Big Rube intro, Big Boi & Andre in great form and a hypnotic hook...just a beautiful way to close out the album. Yeah - we get the bonus Elevators remix after this, but this track just culminates the feeling that builds from track one.
Legitimately love this album. 25 years later still throw on some headphones and get lost in it. Now you can also throw in the sting of nostalgia and it just hurts in that good way that much more.
Thank you, Outkast.
It was perfect
Great comment fam we gotta give them they're flowers why they still here😢
My first CD was Big Boi and Dre presents OutKast. Changed my world. True artists.
Outcast is officially TIMELESS!! BIG Rube 🖊 his spolen word in 96 now its more relevant than ever. Invest no level of self into paganomics !!!!! Srill 🔥
One of the best songs ever!
Soon as that first piece of ivory is touched I promise I tear up. Ya'll dont understand how this album changed my life. And when I hear parts of it today it PAINS me BECAUSE THIS SHIT APPLIES NOW EVEN MORE THAN EVER.
Same here. The piano intro always get me and the chorus
THE FACT THAT THESE BROTHERS QUOTING SCRIPTURES....IT REALLY REACHES DEEP WITHIN.
TRULY PROPHETIC MUSIC
