Hallo Marius😊. Bin immer wieder froh Videos von dir zu sehen. Es freut mich zu sehen, wie du deinen Weg gehst. Ich hab nichts sinnvolles mehr beizutragen dieses ist eigentlich immer mein üblicher Unterstützungskommentar😂
When drilling in a ceiling drill through a lid of a shoe box. It helps with dist collection and doesn't allow a dust to fall into drill chuck. In case if you do not have a vacuum cleaner adapter.
Nice work, but with so much wall that creates small boxes, you don't have to worry about the air quality, the heating in winter (air conditioning in summer?). The heating currently seems to be on the exterior walls of the large room... every small workshop/laboratory/studio risks being cold...
I was surprised when they got delivered how straight they actually were. But this amount we could order directly from a dealership. Hardware store stuff is also crooked af
Hello, I wonder if you had said why you choose timber framing over the more common metal framing, I'm liking a lot the new space and can't wait for the new content to be produced there!
That doorway that doesn't have the extra queens in (Or what ever you call em in your area) I agree not needed. But if you're concerned you could put more uprights in above the header if you think you need to and thats still an option. should be good tho
that's one thing I wondered so many times. why don't youtubers setup sth like a shared office? sooo many strive to do everything on their own but then do collaborations on a regular basis. didn't make sense to me, so with you guys a mutually beneficial work-/friend relationship ;D
There are some (german) youtubers, that work from one building - setting up individuel studios but use shared kitchen etc. Most famous international wide is Marty Fischer (Rabharber Song). But you are right, shared studios are not standart. I guess it is due to the grasroot-nature most chanels start with in the own cellar or spare room. When more famous, more view count they tend to stay by theire own.
I think he mentioned wood fibre insulation before. It´s quite good sound-wise. If they stick with Sheetrock over OSB, it´s also dampening the sound a lot.
It's a commercial building, so I am guessing those are not integrated into the wall, but routed over ceiling or in separate shafts. Easier to expand as necessary.
We don't have specific building plans, but as already mentioned. Nothing runs inside the ceiling. Electrical is in channels, and water runs into the floor
Marius is a woodworker! 😂 But also, the slightly difficult edges/corners, where the walls are not square, are probably easier to do with wood. Also, I bet that wood is more sturdy than those quite thin metal profiles. The metal profiles are probably best used with drywall only, without OSB. But OSB is preferred die to sound dampening, and the possibility to mount things to the wall easily.

You might want to consider the powder-actuated tool. The Hilti DX 460 MX or the Simpson PTP. These two are my Cadillacs ... The DX 460 is fully automatic, with a .27 caliber charge. Wood, concrete, steel to steel, she'll throw a fastener into anything, and for my money, she handles recoil better than the Simpson or the P3500.
Why not make one complete build video like on your main channel? I mean come on, it´s kinda underwhelming watching a video about framing a wall stretched out over 6 minutes and its almost the same content as the last 2 or 3 videos.

Can’t wait to see you working from the new workshop on new tools and designs.
Saubere Arbeit. Gute Bewegtbildproduktion. Mehr muss man nicht sagen.
Your video are never too long !
It looks like your shop is coming along nicely. You guys seem to work together quite well. Looking forward to seeing your completed build video
Nice, another video. These are so helpful to me. I'm working on building some walls in my own house soon.
Awesome, love you videos

I think he has a 3D printed vacuum adapter which sucks itself against the ceiling. Not sure why he didn’t use it.
The piece you cut short was only short one end, the bottom was the perfect length.
Good on you for all the persistence!
very nice

The Greman studs are so straight! Ours, here in the US, usually look like corkscrew pasta.
I was surprised when they got delivered how straight they actually were. But this amount we could order directly from a dealership. Hardware store stuff is also crooked af
@@MHAnythingHaha
I've been wondering everytime you posted the floorplan why you had that double wall section in the center, but I think this video answers that.
I feel like 'seal properly' is the first remotely sound dampening reference we have heard. Any plans on sound insulation?

Because he thinks he is smarter than others. And the UA-cam money has to go somewhere.
@julianreverseThey were already experienced with wood framing. Also why are you so mad?
The videos are to short, i want more 😊😉
Love you're videos
3:00 Who is the old guy? Someone's dad, or just a guy keeping y'all out of trouble?
Guys, I need to know. How is called the food you eat at 2:58?
Looks like some chicken with noodles and rice, I don’t know the exact name though

I don't know, the strength is not need on top, but may be needed for heavy doors so they don't bow out.
I am not sure if is it okay to drill into the beams.
What dimension is that framing lumber? it looks quite different than USA framing lumber. 38mm x 90mm
60 x 80 mm
Out of interest, what size are your studs? They look much thicker than the 2x4 studs we have in the UK.
60 x 80 mm
Where does Stefans secret door lead to?

How do you insulate noise between workspaces, or will you record videos staggered?
OSB and wool isolation, that helps a little.
Imagine Marius‘ footage of him using his tablesaw gets ruined by Stefans loud 3D printer …😅

Jetzt zeige doch bitte nochmal, wie genau so eine Wand gebaut wird 😅
how do you ensure you're not drilling into any internal features, like vents, wiring, drainage?? Do you have building plans to guide you?

@IvoTichelaar yeah that’s what I was referring to, sorry for not specifying. Every time I see him drilling into the ceiling, I wince

Your tiny little hammer makes me crazy! Upgrade to a framing hammer! 560 g hammer head, preferably an Estwing if you can find one.
You mean the one which he is tapping in the anchors? Seems fine to me for this application…
@@LasseAlber It's a personal thing. I love all 15 of my hammers. I dedicate them to specific tasks.
@@georges8348 Okay so you have an entire hammer collection 😂
Having the right tool for a specific job is always a pleasure
I do not see airvents, forgotten or my mistake ?
Good call! Especially interesting with all the dust...
Why isn't a metal frame used which is standard in Europe?

They were already experienced with using wood so they went with that
One question, you are not americans, right? Why you didn't use the metal studs used for drywall and select the wooden ones?

Yeah they're German...
You could have used powder activated fasteners to attach studs or plates to I beam steel, or coccrete. Look at Hilti tools for some ideas

You cannot just drill or punch holes into structural steel beams

Hey I love you
First
When are you going to post on ur main channel
😢you guys are definitely not framers. Way too complicated.
It’s not your problem is it? Maybe you could have done some things simpler but this is not a commercial project with a deadline.
