After all these years I still love this show. This is a family show that we all can watch. We need more of this kind of show that families can sit together and watch.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they miss the original point of Sam's distress. Sam was upset because a kid called her a word that was negative to Polish people and in order for Sam to get the adults to listen to her, she said the 'n-word'. The end result, Nell's speech, however, can be true in both cases where it's about not giving any of those words more power than they already have.
the original point wasnt important anymore, the word she called nell was, and then not being listened to was the next issue... lastly, they talked about her being called a dumb polock on the way home in the car😉
Not gonna lie but I really HATED samantha ,her face and the character she played bothered me because you just never knew what racism she'd spew so it's hard to comfortably enjoy her appearance.
Besides this episode samantha accidentally made another racist slur where she put makeup on joey 2 make him black n front of everybody n church on the another episode the baby just 2 get back on Nell simply because Joey was getting all the attention, but we all know that samantha is actually a good person who like us goes to the wrong direction & make mistakes so as some point, we all have problems 😶

I love this show with The Chief and Nell arguing with him. Just a great show so funny
