It works Great. I got new S Cross. Its simply great to see this function working properly. I am getting really good average up to 25 km/pl if you drive between 60-75. I drove 10 km at 60 speed and got 30kmpl. Its really great to see this kind of efficiency form a huge 1740 kg Vehicle. I drove from Chandigarh to Bharmour Chamba in HP nearly about 1000 km trip and in peek hilly (where you have to push real hard to accelerator in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear only) conditions as Well I got average of 18.5 km pl.

The problem is that Maruthi has been stating "it assist the engine in acceleration".How much? Why cant they use this as a sales tool and say that even though the ddis 1.2 generates 90hp/4000rpm the motor adds .........hp at passing acceleration and at start......when max hp is required. Thus compensating the lack of power in the engine when compared to its peers like creta and duster. Although the more now since one more battery has been added a lithium ion battery . However it is strange that Maruthi keeps quite on this. Only silver lining on the cloud is BS V1 is comming and this engine cannot go beyond 2020.So new engine will address the difficency in power and then may be a great gimmick " it will assist in acceleration" will be put to rest . However for all the folks that bought it thinking assist a sorry is all that you will get. VW did it before and now it is maruthi.
That means there will be no additional pick up(even very little) even with this torque assist or acceleration assist for the current system?
As aregular user of hybrid system. I can clearly say that it does work well. For 6 months my cars hybrid system was disabled due to battery issues. I found lags in acceleration and reduction in mileage in those days. And when i got new battery everything was back on track (car had it's adrelin.

Can ISG be retrofitted to other vehicles that did not roll our with the ISG technology?
It's possible. With perfect research and compatible wiring we can make it.
But again one can debate with the cost incurred Vs extra mileage achieved after installing ISG.
We have much more advanced technology.

ZDi version me itne settings dikhte hain. alag alag varient me kuch features change hote hai. abhi ke cars me total color cluster panel aaya hain.
But my Ciaz 2016 model vdi shvs is getting avg of 17.5 kmpl only with keeping the speed in the range of 60-80 kmph ..
