One of your best ones yet Mr Hardy!! One of my absolute favourite machines from back in the day. What I used to make off that machine alone was more than 5 of my mates wages a month going round all the arcades and pubs. The part I used to love was seeing peoples faces when I knocked back the jackpots and invincible boards and they would think you have no clue.
I've already said in comments but first arcade to ever bar me was on Macclesfield for Lotta Luck. Turned down the first red, old woman comes out of the box and says you had Jackpot there, I said did I and she went off back. I knocked back number 2 and the entire power in the arcade went off and then came back. I carried on, before number 3 the power went off again and I got told to leave. I sent every player from round the country to that arcade that I knew 😂 karma is a bitch.
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines Haha I also had that happen to me a number of times but around a few Glasgow arcades back in the day some of the owners wouldn't mind as they would be so busy with other people with no clue filling them back up. Doesn't matter where your from there's always an old woman arcade worker in the box 😂😂

You could have forced the invincible at 18:04 - if you have won a gamble and exchanged into the feature, if you then restart the feature by 3-in-a-row off nudges or Golden Hold, you can hold down "Feature Exchange" while it's restarting and it will do a glitchy double-restart, which holds over the red trail (but the bulbs aren't lit). Because you were on 8 on the red trail with an 11 showing, this would restart it at 8, then apply the red 11 taking it invincible. (NB - you have to have originally started the feature by exchanging off a win for this to work. You can then do it repeatedly on that same feature though every time you restart it.)
Jus Winter will literally be on the emulator in about 10 mins to see if this works, I defo didn't know itz my question is does it count? As its forced/trapped.
To be honest, I'm not exactly sure how it treats it in terms of the machine's state. It certainly doesn't break anything, but if you're buzzing it up it's neither here nor there really - you're going to be getting red boards anyway. (For the record, if I was playing in the video, I would've forced the invincible and then knocked it back.) The times it was most useful though was for a quick steal on a machine that you're a few quid in, or when playing out the final afters - the trail often goes to red 8 when it has no intention of going invincible, and this trick just tips it over the edge! (works on Jackpoteers and Fort Boyard too)
Yeah, definitely far more useful on £25, you're right. Another thing is it always restarts you on the same ring (the 'normal' restart sometimes booted back out a ring) so occasionally I'd do it just to get a guaranteed extra spin on an inner ring. And it clears the fruit matrix, so I'd always take it as early possible if I was trying to build it up over a few iterations, so that the full matrix is less likely to get in the way when nudging. Would be interested to know if you or Jus can find anything else useful to do with it though...
@joncorby8882 I know he will be looking at it as I screen shotted it and sent it him this morning. What I will say is I have tried to reset it off Super Golden Hold and it screws the machine up so I don't even consider resetting it off that, so it's got glitches. I'll defo be using that on £25ers though
The old good days, brings back great memories this vid 🙏🏻 the trick worked on s lot of the barcrest machines and carried over to the vivid machines when they first came out 👌🏻
I've just watched that credit back, and it took over 4 minutes. That must be one of the longest games to finally go red (other than on a P1) I was surprised that it finally gave in, and even more surprised when it chucked another 2 reds in later on 😁
Yes my friend I actually had this machine on a £5 jackpot about 10 years ago and I love the fact you know how force it for a massive streak. To be honest I really wanted the jackpoteers but this a clone basically so I had to have it. This has to be one of my favourite machines ever. Thanks for the upload
I played that 6 months ago with both Kev and Shockey watching and it was like pulling teeth, this time it played so much better from start to finish, we caught it very right.
@@whatwhatwhat8908 Hello mate. Mr Hardy introduced me to your channel, particularly with that Caesars giving a ridiculous amount off Super Golden Hold. I'm not up to date with emulation, although the messed up Streak occurs (sometimes) on the earliest, completely emptyable version of Lotta Luck. On later versions, if you've knocked back 3 genuine red boards, the streak usually gives one of either £45/£49/£50/£51/£53/£55/£60 or £70. The same is meant to be true on the early version, but one of them messes up, and spins to nothing at £27, and just stops. I don't know if the early ROMs are available for Lotta Luck on emulators. If they are, then this mess up will occur at some point.

Probably true that Jus, I'm not sure I'd have repushed back a 3rd time but I'd not have taken the tenner either. Not too many people have much success sharking me on crests 😂
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines Watching it back, when I took the Golden Hold for a tenner, I saw it go up to 7 on the red, then give a red number and only go to 8, so I thought it was going to die. Few of us would have predicted another 2 reds after that. However, its amazing what you can do with a fake video 😁

you'd have to recover the email account linked it to your youtube and if you can get in then you would be able to get into the channel again. You can fill in forms to try to prove your identity with google but its not often successful.

when you get the red board retake the board off super hold and get it red again that way you can knock back 4 or 5 red boards off a single board winds them up a lot cheaper
Sorry mate thought I'd replied to this, was said in the comments at the time about going down the Golden Hold route, whether this buzzes it quicker being the same credit is probably the bit disputed in the comments. Jus recons it doesn't other people I know swear it does.
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines got an i.o.u for 18 off 7 quid doing it the golden hold way in the Ladbrokes at top off paighton high street way back and could it have that much rate off 7 quid if the golden hold credit didn't count who knows but after that I always played them with gh help lol

Would love to know how much profit this one machine made me when it was out, even though I probably made more of Jackpoteers. Funny thing is I actually preferred Jackpoteers. The layout, music. Not only that, but I had access to almost double the amount around pubs and bookies, LL was not as easy to find until I bought a Leisure Link list, and even then they got moved around quite a bit. I also got barred for doing it in the same Macclesfield arcade (and later on, one of the four arcades in Bolton town centre). But stiff competition from Penner, someone from Eccles Mark and smelly Dave. Played one in a Spoons in Sale and it played better than in this vid - iirc, £7/8 to get first red, and within the space of another tenner I must of had about another 4. I'd get wins, gamble once and the exchange was already red. Anyone seen anything like that before?
The method was very profitable, I personally found I bumped into a decent number of Jackpoteers. That arcade in Macc was horrible, was the first Arcade to boot me and I was fairly young maybe 18 or 19 I rec. I remember ones that shot up the trail on entry to IM, is that what you mean?

Which I didn't think was so common. I thought you had to grind the board most of the time and wait for it to give you the red while in the feature
The specific version you are referring to was the pub variant. It played slightly diffrent to the original P1. It did some weird shit. If you went in on a non red after knocking a few back, if you got another red and knocked that one back, it would stall the win spins for several seonds, leaving you to think it was breaking down and for some reason locomotion never had the Jp set up, only the 3 red sevens for a tenner. There was one in the old bank in Cardiff center. Also, would jump from first point in ladder entry straight to IM sometimes when you got first red number, it did this fairly often
What a game, one that sticks in my mind was in a pub called the ship in Leicester that seemed to be in there such a long time, since been demolished. good old days 👌😁

It's quite funny, as because that was a fairly long, continuous video, I wasn't able to get him to edit out the one that I missed 😂 But yes, it played superbly. The early reds were no surprise, once we'd got the first one, but the next 3 were very surprising

I was surprised that it gave in, and gave the red after the first streak. That board was as bad as your "Hard to Kill" board from Weston. Bottled out a bit, taking £10 off Golden Hold, but then it chucked another 2 reds in afterwards. Very rare you'll see a chipped one play THAT well

This trick is based on getting an invincible board (one where you can't die) red trail goes to the top, once you do this you refuse the jackpot and repeat the process until you go to the middle on a normal board and it's sets off a big streak. We caught this machine at a really good time in the video and this method was used by loads of us back in the day.

I remember doing that on the jackpoteers, killing the board. Make sure you have enough cash and time though your it's just set up for someone else!
Always set off prepared lol, first machine I got barred from an arcade for was Lotta Luck in Macclesfield, I got booted after refusing the second red.

Early programs you could definitely get away with knocking back fewer and Jus often says 3 minimum knock backs.
