Зрители как будто с футбольного матча забрели со своими трубами/барабанами и воплями, создали совершенно непотребную атмосферу.

To much background noise from the audience very distracting
I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that. It's sort of like an alpine skiing competition - accept it would be outdoors and somewhat muted and so not so distracting.

It has to be equal. It is not fair if someone gets a better song over the other. It is easier to dance to good music.
Some of the ladies costumes make the lady disappear. More coverage is actually sexier.

Compared to what I’ve seen over my almost 4 decades in this business, these costumes are relatively conservative
Saving History one step short of a “Pink” or a “Madonna” or a “Miley Cirus” concert costume.
M James not exactly LOL. It may not seem like it to you, but Madonna/Pink/Cyrus costumes would not cut it on the DanceSport competition floor. There is costume criteria for each of the DANCESPORT styles of competition, and each of these dresses on the floor meets the criteria. If their costumes were inappropriate to the category in which they compete, they would not have made it to the top 6.

Is it just me? The rumba rhythm for many couples are very weak. Partly choreography, partly not listening to music at all.
dancinglo. i think you have a point. Paul Killik in a fairly recent interview talked about how the focus has become too much on producing perfect technique, the perfect line and shape and needing to be liked that free expression of the dance is largely lost. I think this a good example of what he was highlighting. I also find the chore is alot of oozing and smoozing and over done antics and there's often not alot of actual rumba in many routines. I cant help but feel today's dancesport is suffering from acute analysis paralysis, especially rumba..

A friend of mine who was at the competition told me that precautions was made to stay safe, e.g. people was made to say within zones to limit the mixing of dancers and audience. He also said that most of the audience were friends and students so potential spread would be limited to already existing closed circles of people, but I think they should have been wearing masks anyway.
In the interview with Earle and Veronika they talked about how the competition was organizing with help from the danish health authorities.
You are alowed to touch your partner and other people you live with. Even when not romantic, dancers are basicly 1 same organism. No worries bruh
