USERS! I'm hoping this video helped you decide whether or not you want to purchase a UDM pro. In addition, this video was meant to help guide new users through the web gui. Let me know if i've helped you out! Thanks.

Do you know if the 1.11 update allows you to have local users, that can log in without the UDM Pro being connected to the internet?

Local users were in the 1.10 release - in 1.11 they allowed for the provisioning of the device without using the SSO account.
To create and login with a local user - go to your unifi.ui.com portal, click on your UDM-pro, (in 1.11) navigate to the "Users" icon on the left hand side task bar (may be a bit different in 1.10)
Here you should have one user - focus on the 'Account Type' column and you will notice it should just say 'Ubiquiti Account', that's the online SSO account.
Mouse over the user, on the right side you'll see three little dots to open a menu, click edit. Go to Profile. There's an option in the middle of the prompt to add a local username and password.
Alternatively - check out 5:45-6:45 in this video for nearly the same instructions.

@@AnthonyJames7 Thank you for the quick reply and detailed instructions. Also thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding regarding 1.10 and 1.11 with local provisioning.

Nice not many people show this in depth. Didn't really want to hear you moan about it the entire time tho!
