Back in 2014 I went to la county jail for the first time and I was at wayside north. I was only there for 5 months and the first dorm I was at, it was basically a Harlem crip dorm. As a Asian running other I interacted with the blacks a lot and became cool with them. There was only 2 Asians in that dorm and about 30 blacks with about 15 Harlem crips and the rest was neighborhood crips their allies. Man these guys were turnt up man just wild up in there. Fights everyday. I would wake up to fights since I was all the way in the back at the blue wall I would see it all. I would be sleeping and they would just move my bunk while I’m sleeping to catch a fade since all the fights happened in the back. I would see ppl getting chocked out multiple times goin to sleep and dudes getting tied up and put under the bunk just for entertainment. One time this blood came in and I’m assuming he was an enemy cuz he had to line it up and fight a bunch of the crips one on one. Felt bad cuz he went to the wrong dorm. After that the sheriff’s moved a bunch of ppl including me to make that dorm the neighborhood crip dorm with all their homies and I got sent across the module and they made that dorm the gangster crip dorm. The rep for the blacks was from Hoover name 4 star and another guy from duroc crip. In that dorm the blacks was less turnt up but the Mexicans were super turnt up in that dorm. Man it’s crazy.
