This is the first vlog you guys have done being in the new home and doing what you normally due. Lauras cooking doing laundry cleaning instead of painting and moving things in. This actually made me feel a sense of home. I am so incredibly proud of you both and am so happy for both of you guys and to your incredible new memories and adventures to come in your new home.
Joe, you're so knowledgable about such broad subjects. I love it when you tell facts. My favorite was the fact you told us about snow about how it takes 45 minutes to fall from the cloud to the ground. Also, I'm from Philadelphia so we're almost neighbors!
I love when you Joe is playing with the magnets and you keep saying "I wish you wouldn't do that"and he just ignores you. Hahaha it reminded me so much of my husband and I ,You guys are so cute....😆

Joe, my experience with the cellular shades is a love hate relationship. In the summer they work great keeping the hot out and the cool in. In the winter they work great keeping the cold out and the warm in. However, in the winter because of the drastic temperature difference we get condensation on the windows because no air moves through those babies. This condensation then will freeze. We have wood trim on the inside of our windows that is now yucky. I would guess even vinyl trim would eventually ruin. My husband leaves the blinds up a couple inches to allow air in there but we live in the Plains and it gets cold! He sometimes even uses a hair dryer to de-ice the windows. They are pretty blinds but just keep an eye out. We are now in the market for new windows.

Hey Laura! i heard that if you put your scarf in a ziploc baggie and then put it in the freezer for about 24 hours before wear, it should stop the shedding. I personally have not tried this but I've seen it many times online.. so i thought id let you know, maybe its worth a try.. :) love your videos and vlogs always! xo

what kind of blinds are those Joe? they look like paper but they keep heat in? What brand makes them, never heard of them. I think I need them. Love that color in the dining room, so pretty. Sausages with provolone in the mixture really Laura? Who makes them sounds good. My blanket scarf is like a shedding monster, the fibers all in my hair, mouth, clothes but I love it still cozy and warm can do without the shedding :)
WOW you guys are NEAT painters! If I were painting in that room, that new dining room set and the shades you don't like (which I have and LOVE) would have paint splatters all over! Very impressed indeedy. I hire painters now - who by the way AREN'T that much neater, but welp at least I can BLAME them and NOT myself! I'm critical like that!

Just curious and not judging, but I noticed that you have a silver garbage can in your kitchen. Do you not separate your kitchen scraps/compost and recyclables from your regular garbage?
I keep my green bin in the kitchen. It's a small one that is made for the kitchen. It would be kind of hard while your cooking to run to the garage every time I needed to through out kitchen waste. Three quarters of my kitchen waste goes into the green bin. 😀
I totally believe in compost. I live in an apartment now, so really do not have space for it. Growing up my parents always had a compost pile, and they still have one. After meals were finished I always walked it out to garden area for composting. We would have serious ant problems if we did not, and we do not like to use insecticides. So we would find ways to prevent these by not having scraps accessible for ants.
I love all watching all your channels. I know this is going to sound like a crazy question but I would love to know where you get the aprons you wear in your own kitchen (not Laura in the Kitchen) I used have aprons like that a long time ago but can't find them anymore. I don't like aprons that tie around the neck. Yours are very vintage looking, I love that!

They'll eat some, and the rest usually goes to the nursery.
Judging by how passionate they are about food, doubt they would throw anything away.
