@LukeViole Yes at this point I would not add any additional water to the beer. You might risk infection, the yeast and the hops soak up some wort, so there's always going to be some loss. As an example when I brew 5 gallons you can plan on losing 1/2 gallon when you ferment, not sure of the conversion for 1 gallon but yes you still lose some wort. I hope your beer turns out as well as mine did! Cheers!
Great video! Im just learning this and wondering what people use to sanitize because alls i got rn is bleach. So im just wondering if you can dilute it in a bath to soak stuff or something but rinse it off of course
I guess my question atm is how to know how much hops to add to get desired flavor. Something that doesn’t taste like in ipa is the most concern I have for this! Lol!
so my intergalactic pale ale has fermented for a week, i added another batch of hops which is supposed to be added directly to the wort and now three more days have passed. its supposed to go 7 more days before bottling. its not completely filled to the one gallon mark so at this point would it be risky to add more water?
The only thing I would do different is use spring water. Tap water is unpredictable and can give an off flavor to the beer. Great video. Cheers!
Great advice. Thanks

Nice video, man! These kits are great.
Very nice - remindes me that I really need to start my sweet potato stout today.
Good job!
Thanks ... It was difficult not using my own equipment for this one but I made it :) Best part of the whole process was the 2 1/2 hour brew day

what was the ice for!
So he can chill down the wort so he can put it in the other container without having to wait for it to cool down slowly on its own
