Those are nice doors! That is great you choose a 8'x10' door. Any smaller is a pain for parking cars and/or tractor with ROPS. I have the same size installed on my garage, except I was able to fit that size in an 8'6" ceiling. It's an as tight fit as it can be. There is 1/4'' between the panels and the ceiling when I lift the door! That is why this door will remain a manual door. No room for an electric door! Thank you Joe! 8x10 is definitely the minimum size for a truck or tractor. I wonder if a wall mount opener would work in your case. They couple to the spring bar. I just installed one and that video should be out in a week or two.
This gives me some ideas. But so you know, I have the extension springs along the horizontal tracks. No room for the spring bar! I'll be watching your next video for sure!

Hello, I have just recently ordered four garage doors from Menards that are Ideal 2 inch doors that look exactly like the one you installed in the video. I had a hard time trying to decide on the wood grain color - Dark Oak or the darker Oak Walnut. Could you please let me know which color of door you installed - it is the perfect color and looked absolutely stunning in the video. I just completed my order yesterday so I hopefully could change it to adjust the color of the wood grain if I had to. Great job with your videos - very well done and instructive.

I was looking for my order sheet but couldn't find it. I'm 95% sure it's the Oak Walnut. It's the darker of the two I know. Hope this helps.
