Congrats to you both on your big win!!! To answer many of the questions below- This is a part of West Coast Swing dancing- where they DRAW their partner. There are rules to WCS but there is a lot of improvisation in this part of the competition and it’s my favorite. Typically people do not phone this in. They are hyper-alert and paying close attention to their partner and the music. They are very much in the moment, reading each other and creating a dance in the process. The results are often dramatic and incredible dancing that takes your breath away! This requires a high skill level and years of practice to make it look easy! Both of these men compete, teach and dance professionally.
It's beautiful to see how they evolve the dance, making it so unique and a "now" moment.. Great to see two men dancing together, as well as two women dancing together RESPECT 💖
I can watch this over and over and over again... What an amazing dance! It was even more amazing live (oh yes, I was there, just to the right of the camera...), but jeeezz... Speachless!
Just made a comment on another dance I saw but this one was 10 times better the hip action was there the chemistry was there the body contact was there it was an exciting dance they were both on the same page
absolutely! nothing wrong with men dancing together and those that think there is something wrong are sadly mistaken, there is something wrong with people that think that way. if they don't like it they don't have to dance with the same sex or watch others that do. haters got to hate.
Magnifique ! De vrais artistes qui n'ont pas besoin de paillettes et de "costumes" aprêtés ... Ils restent tels quels, naturels, et c'est simplement beau.
It's called West Coast Swing and this kind of competition where you get a random partner is called Jack & Jill. Just put WCS and Jack & Jill into the search bar and you will see lots of competitions like that. The fun thing about WCS is it is made for the dance floor, you frequently switch partners in class so you learn how to actually dance well and correctly signal what element you are dancing and it rewards creativity.
I love that this fills my enemies with impotent rage. Yes, Thog, men can dance together. If that bothers you, might want to mind your business before you find out what else they can do.
Some of it is led, but as they both know the song and the framework of the dance, there is a great deal of room for them to play off and respond to each other.
The dance is made in a way that all elements are either push or pull elements and a lot of times the follower just continues on in movement unless told otherwise by the leader. And then part of this competition is creativity and how well you respond to it. So if you know the song and the elements and your partner is doing something fun you can respond to it and then still continue on to finish so you are set for the next element.
These two are perfect in timing, steps and definitely unrehearsed. Girls are like "Can you teach me to dance like that" lol. I hope these two are still dancing?
dance noob here, sorry if my question is silly: if the two of them don't know they're going together and don't know the song and its improv how do they end up doing coordinated moves like at 1:37?
Pretty late to the party but: the leader stops the hand of the follow high in the air around 1:37. As a result, the follow has no other choice than to keep in place, right when an accent in the music happens. The lead essentially gives the follow space to "experiment" with the music. He then anticipates that he will do something "large" with the accent and tried to match it. If you examine the steps in 0.5x speed, you'll notice that they're doing totally different stuff, but because they accentuate their steps it looks really similar. Take it with a grain of salt tho: I don't dance west coast swing, only ballroom
How does this work? Have these guys ever danced with each other before? Do you just get paired up with anyone in a competition? They look like they have danced with each other many times.
They might as swing is quite social and it's standard to switch partners at least every 2-3 songs on parties. Also considering their level they probably met at Workshops or events before. But this is still spontaneous.
SON BARBAROS LOS DOS QUE SENSUALES....YO EN VIVO VI BAILAR DOS HOMBRES....ES EMOCIONANTE...SABEN QUE SON DOS BAILARINES....ES LA REGLA NUMERO UNO QUE PONEN PARA ENSEÑARLE A BAILAR...MUESTRAN.UNA...DOS...TRES...TODAS LAS VECES QUE SEA NECESARIO....FANTASTICO.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to you both on your big win!!!

Great to see two men dancing together, as well as two women dancing together
RESPECT 💖
these guys are better and much more exciting to watch than the TV show dancing with the Stars.
these guys are much more talented.
No kidding. On DWTS you are watching an amateur partner
are they single?
Remarkable because this is spontaneous and unrehearsed.
I had wondered if this was unrehearsed and at the spur of the moment.
If it was as you say it is, it does make it even more spectacular.
Gray shirt guy has some moves.
Ludovic is the guy in gray and Jakub in black 😊
They don't look like they are really attached to the floor - so graceful and smooth!
I love this performance so much! The dancing was awesome and I really enjoyed their facial expressions
I spontaneously clapped for this performance. Awesome. Incredible skills of dance and intuition.
Given how well known Jakub is in WCS in 2024, it’s weird to think it wasn’t that long ago when Jordan Frisbee didn’t even know how to say his name.
Still rude
They look like they are having an absolute blast!
I can watch this over and over and over again... What an amazing dance!
It was even more amazing live (oh yes, I was there, just to the right of the camera...), but jeeezz... Speachless!
The masculinity between two male dances brings out a special sexuality in their movements.
Very fluid together considering they just meet xx
THIS IS SO WOW! 🤯🤩💖🔥 i can't believe it's not rehearsed! HOW is this possible? 😍
Just made a comment on another dance I saw but this one was 10 times better the hip action was there the chemistry was there the body contact was there it was an exciting dance they were both on the same page
Amazing. The steps are intricate and well coordinated. The energy is awesome.
Loved it so much fun to watch and they seemed to be enjoying too.
You guys are amazing! Fabulous dancing.
There is nothing wrong with two men dancing together get over it
How did they ever get over it, that a soccer match is only men (or only women)?
absolutely! nothing wrong with men dancing together and those that think there is something wrong are sadly mistaken, there is something wrong with people that think that way.
if they don't like it they don't have to dance with the same sex or watch others that do.
haters got to hate.
I love to watch men dance especially when they know what they're doing, so much better than mixed pairs.
Many women can dance just as well if not better. They dance in heals and backwards
@@joyceutt3419 Honey, you missed the whole point. 🤦♂️
That was an absolute joy to watch.
These guys are PHENOMENAL.
Such amazing style and flair from each.
Now that's what I call fierce. The follower's flipping his hair like a boss!
Such a beautiful and spontaneous dance. Stellar!
Magnifique ! De vrais artistes qui n'ont pas besoin de paillettes et de "costumes" aprêtés ... Ils restent tels quels, naturels, et c'est simplement beau.

How do they know what the other person is going to do, I love the style

Looks like the Scandinavian's are channeling South America and the men have my vote!
Is this real? Wow, fantastic!
