I got to say, your visualization of this mobster in a *proper* theological lens is essentially perfect- also a drug-dealer and the sort to sell you a raw deal you can't refuse; that's it right there!
You wouldn't expect the devil to be the encouraging one that pushes you to go and improve yourself. Although, they're all about indulgence. Damn are they good at it though. Great voice and great script!

The formative lens I have for envisioning *that* mobster seraphim is more like "Count Iblis" in "Battlestar Galactica" as a visual; a guy, seemingly handsome, definitely human in appearance, but profoundly wrong in its psychology- and downright bad company and not only a mafia don, but also a murderer and a con artist to boot... with a delight in giving humans the raw deal we can't refuse... as well as Perdition's Red Tsar- "red" here meaning "Communist" in terms of its economics. All in all, a profoundly bad deal!
