- In this video, we share with you our third day aboard the Celebrity Edge, and we are in our first port-of-call in Alaska! Ketchikan, Alaska! This is our FIRST CELEBRITY CRUISE and our FIRST ALASKAN CRUISE, and we chose an excursion that we think will be good for our family to experience together: Potlatch Totem Park & City Highlights. Who are we? We are My Cruising Family! Peta-Gaye (wife/mom), Allan (husband/dad), AJ (13-year-old son/brother), LJ (9-year-old son/brother), and Sharon (mommy/grandma). We love to cruise and travel together as a family!

Yes! We saw the lumberjack show and laughed at all of shelton's jokes. 😂

Team replay guys. Lj loves his 🥞. We didn’t eat breakfast because our 9am excursion was going to the George Inlet crab feast but did not attend the Lumberjack 🪵 show. Oh your your bus 🚌 is nice. Ours was a little older and broke down on a bridge on the way back but gave us opportunity to see bears 🐻 and eagles 🦅 . Just realized Allan’s shirt reads Harmony of the Seas. Those totem poles are huge. So tall. We drove past the entrance on the way to the crab 🦀 feast. Look at the carvings on the buildings. Beautiful colors. I’m a magnet collector too. Keychains every now and then. Omg. The outhouse at the cemetery in Skagway was 🤢. 💩 and liquids 😂. Hand soap not sanitizer & no sin . But I always have wipes. The room looks long. V had 🍦🍨 everyday😂. Ketchikan was a lovely day. Oh we had any time dining as well. Escargot 🐌 and carbonara for me. I found all the soups tasty even in the Oceanview; some even a bit salty. The boys palates evolving before our eyes 😋😋😋. I ate my chocolate every night. I am enjoying the memories. Thanks for sharing 🤗
@@cydneystephen2814 oh yes! You had the crab feast breakfast, and it sounded sooooo good! Yeah… the totem poles were huge! So happy I didn’t need to go to that outhouse with them, but even hearing about it grossed me out. Very smart to always have wipes, Cydney. Sometimes I slip up and forget, but happy we had them this time. Yes, the soups and dinner overall were very tasty! Many thanks to you and to Phil and Dee for letting us know we could just show up for anytime dining… this was our first night doing it! Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! ❤️🥰

Hey fam!! That breakfast looked so delicious, especially the omelets!😋 Definitely with you on the family time, always good with you're cruising with a group and they offer that option, just so you don't feel pressured to be with the group the whole time. Those vintage cars, looked so amazing! Wow! You checked out some really great spots, love the learning experience for the kids!

I loved how you made this an educational experience for the family. And youre right abiut that buffet! We wouldnt mind it for dinner either if we had to eat there. It was so good!
@@philanddeetravelsthanks fam! It was a different type or port excursion, but we enjoyed of and learned some Native American stories along the way. Yes! The buffet is definitely foodie approved 👍🏽👍🏽
