Sad indeed to see Phil's decline, but as a drummer who learned from him, Bruford and White, Nic did a great job laying in to those Gretsch concert toms.
This is a testament to the bond between father and son and the importance of legacy that this generation has seemed to disregard because they think they know better - they don’t.
The only true legacy is what is in that DNA and Nick killed it!!! How cool it is to play his dad's song at such a young age in front of his dad's fans? LOVE IT!!! Would love to see some stuff from Nic as well as singing!
he sounds just like Phil. I met the. in Miami years ago and could see what Phil had envisioned . now it is here and sad heartbreaking but we'll planned out
So sad to see Phil Collins like this but he has given us all his talent my generation back in the 80s but he has passed his drumming on to his son Nicholas some people say he isn't as good as his father but let this young man grow his father is proud of him and they have a strong bond father and son
So amazing and talented. And just so wonderful to see father and son sharing a dream. I cant think of much else better. Nick you will go far son. Bless you and your father.
@@sinanengininsrmasaclar1439 Seeing and witnessing in person the torch being passed on to his son. His son looks/appears to be accepting and continue his father's craft with humility. The best thing a father could ever hope for imoa. That's why. 🎶👍
It is always easier when the path was cleared and taken. Take a look at Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfie and talk about how he absolutely carved his own path before making this foolish statement about Nic... he is talented but not near what his dad accomplished.
Like father, like son. Nicholas does a masterful job here. Wonderful!
Keep your pops work out side of the drums but he has a good ❤️ and you wouldn't be here if weren't for mom pops
What video did you watch ? Nic is an horrible drummer !

Absolutely agree

I saw Phil in concert twice.. the best ever ! Epic to see his son play with his dad.

NIC IS ROCKIN IT
The pressure must be immense.Well done Phil for keeping up 😉
Go Nic👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️
Nick ... Great drummer and a genuinely nice young man, (he's also very fit!! 😉). Good luck and best wishes to him.
Made me cry ❤🥰
Me too. The flame has been passed.
Why
So sad but passed his talent to his son and he will grow with Phil's guidance father and son bond

Nice
I'm so glad they didn't autotune
👍👏👏
so heartbreaking seeing phil singing off beat so badly.
not fair
No. Still not the same. I hear ‘ sticks’ …. Not the BEAT…..although I believe the kid has it IN him.
I do believe Nick is better on drums, than his dad! I said it!!
Saying this on a video where Nick rushed and started early is kind of ironic
No! You haven't done your homework.
Playing devils advocate, Phil sang as well as playing the drums - Nick doesn't.
@@robyates3555 can’t argue with that.

Damn, Phil is DONE
Nic isn't even HALF as good as his dad !
Which is still a far sight better than an awful lot of drummers will ever be.
His dad has monster shoes.. his son is learning to fill them well
