    Well, it's good that you're not offended. :) If Swedes would made a song with the same level of insults against Russians, I think Russian patriots would be really pissed off! ))

    Your reference material was more outdated than ours.

    In the comments of the Sweden song, they complain that Russians have no sense of humor. Here, you don't show any sense of humor. Chill.

    Bruises! Bruises!
    we got a lot of Big Bruises near Poltava.
    the Russians drove us so hard that they even forgot to go to school.
    also, we lost in football and hockey.
    we got Big Bruises here and there.
    we can only clap our hands together in the hall to silly songs.
    there is a cheerful country Sweden,
    and it is famous for its Big Talents.

    Good for you. We had less luck than Sweden, who had rich history of capitalism and maintained neutrality in WWII. Don't brag about it though. And, as you've been told, we're not commusists anymore.

    It's not lame, it's funny as hell. You just don't get it. (or, what's more probable, you are offended by the song - no surprise, it's offensive)

    Calling Russians communists is as stupid as calling Germans nazis.

    1) As I said, it's not stealing, it's parody.
    2) If they'll come up with something themselves, it will be something else, not related to Tingalin song at all.
    3) You still won't laugh even if they make up something themselves, because it still will be in Russian.
    4) You can't really compare views of official eurovision song and amateur parody of it, which is in Russian language and thus limits the target audience.

  • @schlaflosig
    @schlaflosig 15 років тому

    This is called "parody". It's supposed to be based on the object of parody.

  • @schlaflosig
    @schlaflosig 15 років тому

    1) There's no rule that you can't make a parody of parody.
    2) It would have nothing to do with Tingalin then.
    3) What do you mean "you"? I'm not the author of this parody. You can ask them to sing in English.
    4) There are several videos of this parody at youtube. The most viewed one has 50,000+ views. Not bad.
