Axle mounted link riser will help with that rear on hill decents.. and the od backing up and jacking the suspension is because the rear uppers are mount so high on the chassis. You want your uppers to intersect at the middle to bottom of trans. I know it's a lot of this and that. But tuning makes perfect. Good content sir and hopefully this summer we can set you up with the JKRC fab Subject Zer0 cheater chassis. Still working on stuff to make it less of a builders kit and more of a kit kit that has all the stuff you need.
On the bottom Front edge of the skid plate need to take Dremel tool and round it off so it will slide better had to do mine the same thing. Made a world of difference.
That did awesome! I think if you stiffen the rear up just a little bit and lower the upper links at the chassis you might see more of an improvement. I just finished up my gspeed build and them shocks take a little bit to get figured out. I ended up using the medium dravtech spring front and losi mini t hard spring rear with offset caps on all 4. I also took the 6mm spacer out and used the smallest soft spring from desert lizards it’s about 10mm and compressed it’s around 4mm so it’s just enough to help keep the chassis down but still allow for articulation. My rig is 4.9lbs rtr.
The googly eyes are just awesome! 👀
Thanks!!
Love the googly eyes 👀.
You always have the fun 😂 out of all your LCG chassis which do you prefer?

I’ll do that for sure
Hell yeah Brother 🤘🏽 I’m thinking of doing a Gspeed build with my ultra drivetrain
You’ll be much happier keeping the ultra together
And using phoenix axles under a Gspeed rig
Can you tell me does the traxxas sledge have the same shocks as the maxx not the xmaxx
I believe it does have the same shocks as the Maxx but maybe valved different. Xmaxx stuff is way bigger
- Hey, Joe... "Why" DRAV-TECH SHOCKS, (over) all others !!???...🤔...?
- Can you reveal "why"...!?? - Thanks, Paul 😀
I usually stay with stock or other brand shocks, I've never had Dravtech so I figured I would give them a try. They are a good shock for sure
I know the video 6mo old but do you use rock sliders now
Some I do and some I don’t. I like to do the body bend on my newest trucks
I was wondering.i feel they get in the way alot more then they help
What body mounts are those?
How heavy is that bug ?
about 6lbs

Awesome rig buddy!!! Really like the dirty south definitely going to build one!!!!
Stiffen that rear up. Think you would have learned something at scale nationals. Rear is just so soft
I saw so many different vehicles there, I didn't actually handle any of them.
