*Please read this till the end before asking any questions!* Characters: Nala - daughter of royal couple, Mufasa and lioness which died on this same day when Nala was born. She is engaged to Simba. Young lioness is future queen of the Pride Lands. Simba - Sarabi's son. His father left when he was only 2 weeks. Mufasa - father of Nala and king of the Pride Lands. Scar - Mufasa's childhood best friend. Sarabi - mother of Simba. Zazu - royal majordomo. Even though there was no mother, Nala's childhood was just beautiful. She had a loving father and best friend, Simba, with whom she spent all her free time. However, all this did not please Scar (the king's best friend). No one noticed him in the pride, which made him even angrier. At some point, lion's patience ran out and he decided to act. Scar, under the pretext of playing a game, led Nala to the gorge, and he told Mufasa That his daughter was in danger. The king immediately rushed into the gorge. It was at what Scar was waiting for. He ran after Mufasa and hit the lion, making him fell from the high cliff. Zazu which had looked around was terrified seeing it. Nala found the dead body of her father and started crying. Scar even froze for a moment, seeing his friend's powerful, muscular body in the Golden clouds of dust and the little lion cub clinging to it. Scar told the young lioness to ran away. Zazu realizes and flew after Nala. Returning to the Pride rock, Scar saw Simba playing with friends. Inside the Lion settled envy, since no one loved him since childhood and he was alone (even Mufasa did not miss a moment to look better than his friend). At night, Scar told the lionesses of the pride what happened. Simba was very sad to know his best friend is dead. Scar told now he will be king. The next day Zazu came (the king's majordomo decided to return because he had lost sight of Nala). He told Scar that he saw everything and asked him to publicly confess everything. The lion did not stand on ceremony with this bird for a long time and just killed it. However, with this came a new problem. There was no longer a Royal majordomo in the pride. How to successfully Scar remembered about Simba. When Sarabi brought the frightened lion cub to king's cave, something strange stirred in the Scar, something definitely unusual and frightening. Pity? No, it was unknown to him. Desire - that's what boiled up inside Mufasa's friend. Desire to humiliate, to crush, to mix with the dirt. The lion announced that Simba would now become the new Royal majordomo, despite Sarabi's protests. It wasn't long until the savannah was destroyed. Three years passed and Simba grew to be a strong and brave lion. He knew pride was starving. But there was nothing he could do about it. He waited and indulged in every possible way the Scar. The lionesses tried to fight. No one wanted to be his Queen. But the Scar didn't need a permanent relationship and "having fun" with the lionesses as they could. The king knew that sooner or later they would declare war on him. Only Simba treated him well. And it was even strange and unusual for Scar. He called his Royal majordomo at every opportunity and talked to him about anything that came to mind. With each passing moment, the king was more and more surprised at himself, this incomprehensible softness, moreover-a tenderness that came from nowhere. Scar could barely contain himself, watching the powerful muscles roll under the smooth velvet of Simba's fur and smiling absently at the sleepy muzzle - this was now filling the hours of the stern lion. Scar would have liked to feel desire beating in his chest. One that can easily be quenched by using it and throwing it away the next day. Isn't that what he's done so many times with lionesses? But no, love had taken possession of the withered, cruel soul, slowly but surely turning it into a blooming oasis. It was frightening. Simba partly understood and tolerated the strange antics of his king. He hoped that he could reason with Scar and save the Pride Lands in a peaceful way. Once Simba once again examined the land of the pride and he was attacked by an unknown lioness. This lioness was Nala. Everyone was happy to have the Princess back except Scar. In the evening, Simba and Nala walked through the lands of the pride, and the king did not lose sight of them. The lioness offered the Royal majordomo to escape from here, because the land is unlikely to be saved. Scar, hearing this, was furious. The king tried not to think about bad things and called another lioness to him. However, bad thoughts did not let go of him, even in the lioness, he saw Simba. Scar decided to take extreme measures. He asked Sarabi to bring her son to him. As soon as the Royal majordomo climbed the Pride rock, the king ordered him to "confess everything." Scar ordered Simba to admit that he was gay. All the more reason, deep down, that Scar had wanted to hear it from him for a long time. And now we have such an opportunity. Simba doesn't have any other choice right now. He will be coming out and all the lionesses, including Nala, hate him. This was Scar's plan. However, Simba was so confused by this order that he could not say anything. As a result, the Royal majordomo's paws slipped and he hung on the edge of the cliff. The king clawed at his paws and said, " I hate you." Simba is tired of this farce. He understood and saw everything perfectly. So, he answered with confidence, " You love me." The lion licked Scar's nose, and Scar's grip loosened in surprise. A lion with a red mane fell from a cliff. At this moment, all the moments with Simba flashed before the king's eyes. He realized that he had gone too far, made a mistake. He no longer saw the point of living and jumped after his beloved. Soon Nala found two bodies pressed against each other, under the Pride rock.
Pretty okay story but why Scar and Simba? As an author, I would suggest that you make your own characters instead of using someone else's. That way, there would be less controversy and possible hate on your content. I would not be able to call this an "Alternative timeline" either. Say, I myself would call an AU a change of events from the original source, like if a character did or didn't do something or that the world the story takes place in has different laws. If this is not an AU, it is a fanfiction. Fans are able to write whatever they want and I respect that, but if you are invested in storytelling, try your hand at making your own original and new characters rather than using pre-established ones. The story that you wrote above strays so far from the source material that I would not be able to call it "Lion king". The edits that you made seem like an EXCUSE not to draw something yourself. Drawing may take a long time to master but it will help you in the long run. This is just contructive criticism and I hope it will help you improve.

The transitions from 2:28 to 2:30 -I can't begin to express how perfect it is. 2:30's angle being consistent as shown in 2:31?? Like, clever to have the camera shift position to keep them from horizontal to the camera view to vertical, plus that manip of Scar's hand?All of it... *chef's kisses* I love this work of art! How you've kept the tone through it all with a cool tint to it, the masterful use of the masks with the scenery to give cohesion throughout it all-the cohesion of ALL the video, really, the rain as Simba ascends through Pride Rock, the change of camera angle to camera angle that, in spite of being from different scenes all feel like one (in the end, when Scar lets go of Simba and he jumps after him). It's such a sad story, but one that leaves me speechless by how cleverly crafted it is. Honestly, I'm amazed by this video and how well put together it is, it shows a lot of attention to detail and effort, and I thank you for putting out such an amazing work!
