This paddle immediately elevated my game. The longer handle makes it very easy to handle and maneuver. The dwell time and control is excellent. I feel much more in tune with my game with this paddle
Been playing with the Flow for the past month or so and I absolutely love the paddle! I bought this paddle as an upgrade from the Prism Flash and have been really impressed with it. I prefer a control game and this paddle has really helped me improve my dinks and resets as a newer player. The hybrid shape and swing-weight really work for my style of play. I have been considering picking up the Mach 2 Forza as another alternative but given how happy I am with the Neonic Flow, I'm not sure it is worth the expense at this time.
Glad you like it, this is definitely the paddle I recommend when people want just a step above the PF16. Just a step up in power and pop but still manageable to learn control and the soft game
@@TickleMyPickleballIs there any reason to choose the Prism Flash over this paddle today? I'm a beginner looking to upgrade from a $15 starter paddle to my first serious paddle. Thanks!
For a beginner I would recommend the Vatic Prism instead. It's more beginner friendly and gives you good control, it's also a cheaper and better value paddle
How does this paddle handle vibrations/reverbations? I have some tennis elbow so looking for a paddle that can absorb and handle impact to reduce shock to my forearm.
So it's on the softer end for a thermoformed paddle and won't have a stiff feedback like many of the other thermos out there. But i don't know if it will reduce vibrations as well as the pro kennex paddles which are meant to reduce vibrations
Nice video. The Neonic Flow is a great paddle. Yes, a bit less power and control over the DBD, which I sold, and way less pop and plushness, IMHO. I can go between the Vatic Prism and Flow with not much adjustment. I really love the Prism too. The pop off the face of the DBD, at times, made it hard to control when going for low percentage shots. I'm a 4.0 player for reference.
I had a Black Diamond and DBD. Great paddles but the ball flies off the face making them hard to control at times. The Neonic is more plush and has about the same power. The Vatic Flash is also an excellent paddle. I sold my Six Zero paddles. I tested these paddles against a Joola Hyperion C2 and got rid of that paddle too. Great paddle but on par with the Neonic.
You have to choose one of the following to play with the next month or the next few tournaments: DBD 16, Neonic Flow, Pickleball Apes S - Which do you choose :) Also I have theory that plushness is simply what kind of material is used in the handle to create the hexagon shape. Usually this can be rigid foam, eva stiff foam, eva soft foam, wood, plastic, etc.. The softer the material the plusher it will feel as less vibration/direct feel will go into your hand. For a long time I thought plushness had to do with the surface material in some way, but I no longer think that. If you have tennis elbow, you probably want soft EVA foam in the handle to reduce vibration. If you want real feel of what is happening off the paddle, you probably want wood or very rigid foam. Also thank you for your reviews!

@@nikhilmaddirala The Prism Flash will give you a bit more control. It's more of a beginner friendly paddle while the Neonic Flow has more power
I been playing with it for about a month now. Great paddle.
What do you like about it?
it's got so much spin@@robedwards6926
This might be the paddle I’ve been looking for! Already bought mines. It’s cheap as hell too
Intriguing option. How did you feel it compared to the Loco? Thank you
It's softer and has less power than the Loco
Haha why are you using a Joola paddle for the footage around 2:30?
I always use different paddles along with the paddle I'm reviewing as comparisons
Hi, would you recommend this over the vatic prism flash?
I play for fun with friends maybe 3-4 times a month.
Thank you

@@TickleMyPickleball awesome thank you for a quick response
@@TickleMyPickleball Hi what if I am about 3.5,
Im torn between the force, the flow and the prism flash
Would you still recommend the flash
Thanks
@@munchymunch8698 yup, you can go with either the prism or flow but the prism is a bit more beginner friendly and a cheaper paddle
Neonic force or flow?
I personally like the Flow cuz it has more control but the force is more like a gen 2 thermo and gives you more pop and power

Less power, control, pop and plush and you went with the Flow?
@lazyhusband I guess I didn't make myself clear. The dbd has more pop and his harder to control than the flow, imho.
Another great review, thanks!
Do you find the power to be enough?
For me yes, I find the prisms too soft but i'm a fan of these as just a step up from them
We need more quads bro! Great review as always!
How would you compare this paddle to the Vatic PF16 and DBD16. Would you describe it as a happy medium between them?
Yup a bappy medium but leaning a bit towards the pf16
Which is better J2, Aiso Centric or Neonic Flow?
Personally for me Centric+Flow over the J2. I go back and forth between the Centric and Flow depending on the day
Perfect review. We have DBD 14mm and wanted to know if it would give us more control. Nice comparison here. We will use discount code to buy one.

More control but less power and pop than the DBD
@@robedwards6926 noticeably less. Think of it as an in between of the DBD and Vatic Prism
@TickleMyPickleball Sound like a good control power with just enough put away when you need it.

Hmmm tough call between the Flow and the Apes S. As of right now, I'll go with the flow
How would you compare this paddle to the Forza Mach 2 16mm paddle, assuming you have played with the M2? Thanks and great reviews/videos.
Unfortunately I haven't hit the M2 yet but I'm planning on doing a video comparing widebody paddles soon so hopefully I can get back to you on this
Great review 😊
Hope your camera’s okay! 😬
How does it compare to the DBD in terms of spin?
Basically the same
How would you say it compares to the mach 2 forza 16mm in terms of feel, obviously the shape is different.
For feel, the Flow is softer than the Mach2 forza
Sorry about your camera 😅
🤣
Looks like 006 to me
