From England here. All our rubbish ( trash) bags are also in rolls like this. Your channel is really interesting. We plan to live half in UK and half in Morocco once we retire so its really interesting and informative to see what you get up to! We are actually coming to Morocco this weekend to Agadir.

Abou Horaira was a companion of the prophet Muhammad pbuh. Horaira means kitten in arabic. He was a cat lover that's why the name. The prophet loved cats too. He had one called moezza.

Maybe you do not understand some things, such as closing stores, After the holidays, the people who own the shops are from very far away areas and may not see their families for a long time. For them, this is an opportunity to sit with them for a while. This is the reason, but you can still go to the major markets, such as Marjan, Asima, or Salam or Bim markets, which will be open one day after Eid or holidays.

Erin, I think the name of the mosque is actually Abu Hurayra. It's amazing if Abu Hurayra (pronounced who-ray-ra) is the closet mosque to YOU, because Abu Hurayra means "the father of CATS"! Yes-- cats, as in meow. That was his nickname (his real name was Abd ArRahman ibn Sakhr al-Dawsi). Abu Hurayra was a famous follower of Prophet Muhammad. He was known for loving cats, but his real fame was about being a very good man who loved Islam and the Propeht Muhammad, peace be upon him--- and thus he memorized a lot of things the Prophet said and conveyed what he said to the general public. He was a famous hadith transmitter. (Hadith are things said by the Prophet, but what's in the Quran is believed by Muslims to be the word of God alone.)
