I really enjoyed your piece, it's so lush! Yes, I need to update the Cello with the Violin's presets. Yep, you're right, it's the timestretching that made me play with pretty minimal vibrato. It's a tricky balance, since the more vibrato you use, the weirder it sounds timestretched.
Ben Osterhouse creates such amazing string libraries. They are easy to use but also makes one think differently about how to score for strings. The quality is outstanding and is not burdened with a slew of unnecessary options, making it easy to get to scoring and still have something in the bank account. Thanks for creating this review to get the word out!
Amazing song!!! Very Chick corea indeed. It is a very inspiring library, however it has to be used in a very specific context. I also feel on what I heard that the dynamic change on a sustained note has a bit of the "accordeon effect". But it has a very nice "grain" effect. That's why I think it has to be used in some very specific style. It would be interesting to hear that in an orchestral context.

Thanks for the info and update. The instrument is precious.

Agreed!
Your music piece is beautiful! Thanks for your reviews. I like the VSTs you review
Thank you. I try to review good instruments that are worthwhile. Cheers!
Love that song!
Nice review. It would've been helpful if we could see the Kontakt keyboard so we know which keys are being pressed to achieve what we are hearing.
You could always check out the Pathfinder cello review. I know it isn't the same, but at the same time, it sort of is, and will give you more insight.

Yes, depending on the preset you have to be careful with the voicing. Cheers!
