Every character? Like, people with experience that where paid to do it only made 12, and they are not even that balanced. What about instead of making one for every character you don't first ask what your players would like to play as and then make only these? This way you only has to work on 3 to 6 classes instead of 20, from wich not even half would be used.
Are you going to use a known sistem or are you creating a new one for this???

It's so sad they screwed over Green Knight alone for no reason, he was my favorite as a kid, but that also means I beat the game with the worst character so it's not all bad

The problem I have with Red Knight is that he is very susceptible while using his magic. In a game where you really do not want to get hit, it makes him much more of a risk to play.

I agree but most of the time if you just wait most enemies just run into your lightning and get trapped sometimes the hitbox even goes behind you so they can even punish you
red knight’s magic is often redundant because juggling exists!!!

i feel like in multiplayer games with new players the king is good because he can heal teammates standing near him, so you can heal your weaker teammates between fights.
The thing is, potions are really cheap and easy to get.
King is unlocked after beating that giant bat on insane mode (at least 3 hours playthrough), and his healing is not even that good if you compare to the support the blue knight or the red knight give by just using their splash magic.
Fun Fact about Gray Knight, although its not that relevant. You can actually use his arrow volley as a set-up to true combo's in pvp. Where if someone gets hit by the volley you then get a free unblockable bomb on them.
i never played castle crashers pvp so this is stuff i did not know
Not really a gameplay thing but I always loved playing Gray knight especially solo because it was super basass to pretend like you were a one man army seperated from his squad like in action films descecrating the front lines single handedley.
I’m truly glad the blue knight is getting the recognition he deserves, he is very op and is a gateway to getting the fencer, literally one of the most busted characters in the entire game. He also happens to be my childhood hero, I remember getting on my Xbox 360 and straight up bully all of my friends with his magic lol

I really think the necromancer's heavy magic works well with both beefies and bosses, and he also has the strongest down-magic projectile

The necromancer’s Ariel splash magic can actually run on the ground, and doesn’t explode immediately with contact on the floor. Move him up because I’m in denial!

Tip for your challenge runs
Please when you are knocked to the ground, just press A repeatedly and your character will instantly recover jumping up.
It is especially handy in the alien spaceship, since when you get up you cannot be knocked off again until touching the ground, so the steam/smoke cannot stall you for much longer than 5 seconds

The Saracen's tornado only does half the dps as the bear's as it hits slower. I think he's even worse than where you put it.
Also, I think you are Slightly underating bomb magic. It's insane for crowd control. They (besides grey) belong in high B or even low A imo.
Hatty has so much delay on his splash magic. It makes it almost a guessing game to hit faster bosses. While it doesn't ruin him, I think A is a little too high.
I didn't realize how useful the blacksmiths jump magic could be. That's really cool.
I also didn't know how well vine magic could shred. Might do a snakey playthrough

Wow. Amazing castle crashers video! The editing, placements, funny clips. Awesome stuff dude. This is also one of my the best tier lists I’ve seen, as many others have placements that don’t make much sense to me. It still surprises me that some people will not have red knight in S tier when he’s amazing in like every situation. Also, the fact that some people think green knight isn’t the worst character is also crazy. Keep it up bro👍

fun fact: most characters in the game can do their throwable magic twice in the air if you spam magic + item right as you jump, but the alien is the only character who can't do this to my knowledge
with everyone playing meta characters like industrialist/fencer and shitting on hatty, the fact that you put him in A tier opened my eyes and now i love playing as him, thank you.

In my 10+ years of playing Castle Crashers, I've never heard anyone call the Brute well "Brute." On Xbox Live, his name was clearly stated to be the Forest Green Knight when you view your friends list as someone is playing with him, which is why he uses vines and acorns. Definitely a better fitting name, as he isn't a Brute in the slightest but seems pretty in tune with nature.

Im pretty sure the reason hes called the brute is because the enemy version is only ever seen beefy.

I want to defend necromancer a bit here, specifically in regards to his magic. What is very nice about him is that his projectile magic has unlimited range no matter the level at which they are at which is quite handy in the early game.
I don't think its enough for S tier but I think A would be reasonable
thats a good point, i still would keep him in C tier as i cannot see him being the same tier as brute or fire demon

The king worked out well for my group’s insane mode play through. We were all bad, so we needed lots of healing. After clearing a screen of enemies, we would full heal using the kings magic, which took forever 😂

It’s not really about him being more liked it’s about his damage output being shit and his magic not making up for it
juggling is extremely important for insane mode, the fact he is the only character that has a different heavy attack makes him worse than every character, if he had a normal heavy, he would be high A tier
When my older brother's friends were playing Castle Crashers, he gave me an option what character to take. Then, I said 'I want to be green one!'. He was kind of undewhelmed of my choice and said 'It's crap.'. The funny thing is, that I said the word 'crap' for a very long time.

Doesn't necromancer have a unique aerial throwable too? In which if he fires his skeleton downwards, rather than stopping on impact, the skeleton just keeps running after impact with the ground.
Imo industrialist has more drip then fencer

Gray knight sucks in insane though
Another thing to note about Grey Knight, despite having the same Armor Pierce elemental infusion that 80% of the playable characters have, his only does 2x damage instead of 4x. It's to really drive home the point that Grey Knight is literally just a dude and has no powers lol.

Green Knight was my first pick on the 360 team green Knight forever
he was mine too! i never knew how to juggle back then so it wasnt a problem, but once you learn how to juggle, green knight is awful to play
5:42 it also heals nearby teammates, they just have to be VERY close to him
Finally unlocked the necromancer so now I can start completing the game with the characters I currently have to unlock the new ones 😂

In my first time playing this game I used red knight. I maxed out defense in an attempt to learn juggling and… sorta succeeded but not really. And Beefy’s were a lot of trouble.
Then I put points into speed and magic and suddenly I can clear massive hordes with minimal effort. The fact lightning STUNS mooks and beefy’s and does lightning quick hits is amazing.
The only things that don’t melt are the cultists in the final area and big beetles. So I think red knight is the best for casual runs.
Orange knight do be committing arson to wreck everything.

Blue knight:outplayed(freezes enemy),outskilled(freezes enemy again),mt brain is bigger(freezes enemy again)
Hatty also starts at level 2, plus you forgot to mention that some characters start with swords identical to the ones that their NPC counter part uses. Because of this some swords are a level 20 requirement that you can use early and still get their buffs
It’s so sad how bad Necromancer is when he is the coolest character in the game and has the best theme song in the game

What could have been a good idea for the ninja is make his throwable into a bait/parry attack. If you time it right they hit the deocy and you dive bomb them. Doing massive damage

Knowing he was the only backflipper and got mad when I didn’t know how to juggle with any other character because they twirled their little sword around
Here I was thinking the green knight backflip makes juggling easier, guess its down to preference
My favorite knight was always red. And I would still consider resistances. Red's still best.
